There is not a better place in the Beaver Dam area than 2nd Attic self Storage. Sandie and her daughter are so nice and easy to work with. I have been keeping our Camper there for the past two years, and they are always there to help out with what ever you want to store there. ... Read more

They are thieves and crooks. I was there for two years always paid on time and before due date. When I moved out, giving two month notice(which they tried to pretend I didnt give, lucky I had the email they responded to as proof) they kept security deposit claiming the unit was dirty. Yet the leasing agent kim inspected the unit the day I returned the keys and say it look great. I would have my refund within 30 days which never came. When I called to ask about my refund Kim said the owner decided to keep the deposit because the unit was dirty. Also to be mention, as a another person sad on another review, the security gate IS always open. Also, I have personally watch people wait for the gate to open to sneak threw. The owner and Kim just shrug when I brought it up. ... Read more

Don’t waste your time. They are supposed to have security at the gate but we (and another potential customer) drove right in. The gate was wide open. Then when we went into the office the blonde woman in there scolded us saying we shouldn’t be there. Well now you don’t get our business. I wouldn’t feel safe having my belongs there anyway. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at 2nd Attic Self Storage - 1028 Commerce Drive include the following amenities: Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
