Jeff at Extra Storage was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, upbeat, and incredibly professional. He made what could have been a stressful process feel easy and even enjoyable. He explained everything clearly, answered every question with patience, and went above and beyond to make sure I left confident about my rental. On top of all that, he just has a great vibe that makes you feel taken care of. If you’re headed there, do yourself a favor and ask for Jeff — you’ll be glad you did. New visit update!!!! Even though the team was out of the office when I stopped by, the service was still next level — and Jeff came through once again. I had already completed all the paperwork ahead of time and just had a scheduled move-out/move-in date that needed to be reviewed and confirmed. I figured it might turn into a back-and-forth situation, but of course… Jeff made it effortless. He pulled everything up, reviewed the dates with me, double-checked the details, and made sure the transition from my smaller unit to the larger one was completely smooth. No confusion, no delays — just quick, confident reassurance that I was all set and good to go. Even while out of the office, he was responsive, professional, and somehow still managed to bring that upbeat, reassuring energy over the phone. It’s rare to find someone who makes something as simple as a unit transfer feel this seamless — and maybe even a little enjoyable?? ... Read more

I understand not everyone wants to hear everyone’s opinion/experience.. however please be advised/cautious/aware when trying to take advantage of “specials” or “deals” this company runs.. I saw an add on a “neighborhood” oriented search engine I think neighbor . Com for storage unit possibilities.. I called to verify and had 2 further phone calls discussing my goals with why I was looking for and what to expect when signing up for the unit.. completely being transparent with them about the sale special I saw for $144/month for a 10x20 garage unit.. 1 week later I went to the location to make sure a vehicle I would like to store there would fit… The woman I spoke with in person was different.. but I was assured by both individuals my request and information was passed along.. during the signing up process I was: 1. Reassured this was the amount I would be paying $144/month on a month to month contract cancel any time no fees 2. My rate would stay the same and would be protected without increases during the life of the lease. 3. I declined to sign up for first 2 months free but pay a larger amount each month option. 4. I opted for the $11/month insurance they offered. I left there with all my questions answered.. reassurance given.. confident in the deal and facility.. 3 months later I get a notice 3 days before the end of the month mind you.. that my storage rate will be increasing $100/month moving forward and is now subject to rate changes throughout the year.. I was obviously confused and called the next day.. I spoke with the woman who helped me the first time.. explained what was going on.. what I was told by her co worker and reminded her that I would never have signed the lease agreement if I wasn’t told my rate would be fixed for life of the lease at $156/month.. she immediately says the following as we were talking and became increasingly rude when I reiterated my points to her about how this is bait and switching… 1. You signed the lease agreement it has it in there and you can’t do anything about it and neither can I. 2. Stop putting words in my mouth that I didn’t say. (This was her response when I informed her what her co-worker had said and promised to me at no point did I say it was her that said these things) 3. Everyone’s rate is subject to change it doesn’t matter and I’m not having this conversation. 4. I understand your concern and I can initiate negotiations on your rate with my higher ups but it’s likely you will be ruled against. 5. “Maybe you should take responsibility for your actions and hold yourself accountable”. **as I was trying to explain to her how as a customer this makes me feel mislead.. misinformed.. taken advantage of.. and so on and so forth very respectfully.. I was eventually being just about yelled at an talked down to by this individual.. to which I said I’d just like to cancel the agreement today so that you cannot charge me for the next month at the higher rate.. she was not happy and very aggressively explained how I need to come down there today by 6pm and have my lock removed so she can put it in closure status and hope it goes through by the end of the month… I get it but I’d have preferred a conversation or at least not be talked down to.. everyone has a bad day I understand.. and no one likes to lose a customer.. and point of this review was to highlight being cautious as this company will make you feel like you’re getting a deal an mislead you while they hope you don’t realize what they’re actually doing with what you sign up for… ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Extra Space Storage - 1005 East Entry Drive include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Extra Space Storage - 1005 East Entry Drive start from $46 and can go up to $361 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
