Superior did an outstanding job on a challenging move that was arranged on short notice. My family and I required multiple stops, including one in an Old City Philadelphia apartment. My wife and I used Superior moving and storage to move us into our new home on Saturday, February 7th. It was bone-chilling cold (about 14°F) and very windy! Superior (the dream time: Jack Perry, Ty Woods, and Dan Nader), arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled time, which impressed us very much??They loaded all of our belongings (and we have a LOT of belongings) on To their truck in 1hr and 18 minutes, and that was after they did two walk-throughs with us to make sure that we were satisfied. After about a 2.5hr drive, they offloaded the truck, placing ALL of our belongings in our new home, exactly where we wanted them, and then asked us if we were satisfied! ??Honestly, anyone that would not be satisfied with such stellar service must be crazy! These guy are the REAL DEAL! We will be recommending them to EVERYONE we meet. We used superior last week to move our family. We had to move early and quickly due to both settlements on the same date. They showed up at 6am and had our 4 bedroom house packed up by 9. 1 truck, 5 guys. They did have to make a second trip for our yard items, but we expected that. The guys were awesome! Even helped us pack up a few last-minute items we were planning to just throw in the car. The staff in the office including Bill and Colleen were wonderful to deal with throughout the planning of our move date, confirmations and follow up. I hired Superior Moving and Storage to move my mother out of her 4 bedroom home in NJ to an in-law suite in Delco (very stressful time for us all!). From start to finish, anyone I came in contact with was professional, answered all my questions before I even knew to ask them and made us all feel so comfortable.

Superior Moving should consider changing their name to Inferior Moving. I heard they almost went bankrupt a few years ago and I understand why.
My move out of a 934 sq ft apartment took Superior Moving 7 hours to complete with 3 men. They arrived at 10:15 and did not leave our new house until 5pm.
It took superior moving 4 hours to load my 934 sq ft apartment worth of things into their truck. The team that was assigned to my move had had full access to our freight elevator that we reserved for them. The amount of time that they took to load the truck was excessive. They showed zero sense of urgency during the time of the move. We even saw one of the movers sitting on the side of the truck smoking while they were still loading our belongings onto our elevator multiple times.
At one point I began to load my car with things because they were moving so slow. Additionally, the team that was present at my move complained the entire time and kept rolling their eyes because of the amount of clothes that we had (mind you we had a 934 sq ft apartment, 1 long dresser and 1 tall dresser).
While they were unloading the truck we even had to assist the movers taking bags of clothes upstairs and hanging them properly.
We had just gotten our house repainted and there were multiple marks and dry wall damage on the walls. They also did not reassemble our bed and they took the screws with them.
Worst moving company ever. Do NOT use this company unless you want to add unnecessary stress and cost to your move. ... Read more

Joe F and crew were amazing. They moved quickly and efficiently but took great care of our stuff and the homes on both ends, wrapping and cushioning furniture and appliances, laying out the carpet to avoid scratches on the floor, and taking care not to bump the walls. They talked to each other so nicely and respectfully and had great teamwork and spirit, creating positive vibes and making the whole move stress free. Superior Moving and Storage did a great job with a recent move from Philadelphia to Boston. The crew was quick and wonderful to work with. They packed two apartments in Philly quickly and efficiently. They then unpacked both apartments in Boston with the same level of efficiency. A broken elevator did not slow them down at all! Absolutely terrible experience with Superior Moving. They severely damaged my marble TV stand during the move (I moved 2 Blocks up the street) — and despite having clear photo evidence and proof that their team caused the damage, they refused to take any responsibility or offer any compensation.
The level of unprofessionalism was unbelievable. They were dismissive, rude, and completely unwilling to make things right. As a local Philadelphia real estate agent, I regularly refer clients to service providers — but after this experience, I would never trust this company with any of my clients’ moves.
If you care at all about your furniture, your time, or basic respect, stay far away from Superior Moving. There are plenty of better, more professional movers out there — don’t make the same mistake I did. ... Read more

I have moved seven times and this was the most excellent moving team I’ve ever had. Bill and Jimmy were extremely careful with handling all of my items, and also did a wonderful job of not scratching any walls or surfaces in either houses, which both have very narrow stairways and hallways. I have used Superior Moving three times in the past and have always had a wonderful experience. This time was no different. From my initial phone call with Rob who was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail and gave an estimate and called the day prior just to confirm which is very comforting.
I moved on Tuesday, March 4, and the two movers, JASON and ALEX arrived right on
time and were friendly and had a very pleasant demeanor right from the start.
Individually and as a team, they were exceptional.
They treated my items with the utmost care and respect and got them safely delivered to my new apartment.
As a matter fact, they went above and beyond. I had marked on my boxes which rooms they go in and they put the boxes in that room, which makes it that much easier to unpack. They eased my mind on what could potentially be a stressful day, with their easy friendly banter. They made it a wonderful day and treated me as a valued customer. I would highly recommend Superior Moving to anyone.
The moving cost was extremely reasonable and very close to the estimate.
True professionals, and it was obvious that they felt very comfortable and experienced with their work. In a word, they knew exactly what they were doing.

I moved from my house to an apartment in 2024 and then again to a larger apartment in 2025. Both times I used Superior. They wrapped all the furniture that had doors or drawers.
