Prices are at all time highs for the paying customers... There are people living in the storage containers, I have seen it myself and it is a well known thing amongst townfolk. I have had to replace multiple tires and I am always finding more and more nails and screws here. I want to know if they have fire insurance on our units because God forbid a person is smoking and the place goes up in flames I want 100% of what my stuff cost. There is no public restroom. They also told me they are not responsible for the damaged tires, I try to do a nice thing and pick up all the screws and nails I see but this time seeing 4 in less than 10 feet is unacceptable. What will it take for things to change here? The ones who are actually paying for their units are being overcharged for the people who are getting free units via programs... All the while damage to your car is occurring every time you drive it in, I have had 8 tires plugged or replaced this year alone. I have receipts as proof... And the icing on the cake is that this place closes at 7 and you can't do a thing to access your unit. ... Read more

I needed to utilize the storage facility through an unforeseen situation. Wendy was phenomenal, professional and always available. She assisted me with selecting the best size for my needs and reviewed any and all promotional specials to be applied to the rental fee. The unit was easily accessible and clean. The facility was well-lit, convenient and secure. I would strongly recommend Mr. Storage to others for short or long term storage and I would use the facility for future storage needs. ... Read more

I stopped in and although the office is small, I was met with a big personality. Danielle walked us through the process. As first time storage users, we didn't know what to expect. She made everything very easy to understand. The facility is clean and the unit is in good condition. I like how the gate access works. We have been using it for a couple of months without any issues. I recommend anyone who needs storage to come here. ... Read more

I am a renter at this and many other similar facilities. I have a large commercial space with heat, electric and plumbing. In my business it is important for our equipment and products not to freeze, so the climate control is an excellent option. However the building is so well insulated, that I rarely have to turn on heat. The facility is gated and lighted for security. Management keeps the common areas clean, and is quick to respond to most request. ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 50 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Mr. Storage - 355 West Main Street start from $48 and can go up to $78 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
