Read some helpful reviews of Prime Storage at 10 Prospect Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I stored a car at the Enola location and it was not great for a few reasons. If you have a low sitting vehicle, this is not the place for you. Most of their units sit on an incline which in my case left me in sort of a valley. Tried backing it in initially only to damage my exhaust system. When it comes to pricing they initially worked out a lower price for me which I thought was great until 3 mos later they raised it 100$ I honestly don't get the point of negotiating a lower price if you know you're just going to raise it in the future. They did work to keep it at its original price, however it was short lived and only last a month before reverting back to the new 100$ increased price. The unit was just not worth almost 300$ a month especially considering the stress of having to get it in and out of the unit. They did offer to discuss keeping the rate lowered again, but with the caveat that it will still increase in the future. If you're just going to work to keep it at the current rate manually every month, why not just keep it there to begin with. At the end of the day it became too much of a hassle for storing my vehicle and so I terminated my rental. Would I recommend, probably not! ... Read more

Kevin, the general manager, was really nice and showed me where my locker was going to be. After realizing that I had purchased a size much too small for what I would need to put in there. He gave me an upgrade to a 5x5 unit and gave me a padlock that would be calculated into a new price for the next month. He was very flexible with me and understood my situation clearly. He gave me recommendations and clearly broke down the lease that I was to sign, making sure I comprehended everything before signing. He was thorough, kind, understanding, and helpful in the process of renting out a storage unit, as someone who's young and never done this before. Definitely made my experience a positive one and worthy of a 5-star rating. ... Read more

Easy access and safety! I love the fact that the gate welcomes you by name! Entering the storage unit is a little tough because of my knee and entrance way is on a slight hill with two very tiny steps into it. Ending the contract with Prime, on the other hand, was a NIGHTMARE! I was not informed of the 15 day notification. I wouldn't have been able to give such notification because of my job and living with disabled people. They took my rent money which was raised 3x in 7 months! Won't give a refund even though I needed groceries. The person I spoke to was a real jerk about the situation, too. No empathy! Just repeated they don't prorate fees. Would not recommend using this facility. ... Read more

The customer service call set the stage for an easy process. Moving is hectic enough so having an easy process was really good. I made the reservation online and drove to the site, spoke to a nice manager, signed documents and voila’ transaction complete. Just great! ... Read more

The monthy price of my storage unit doubled during my 1.5 years lease. They said it could fluctuate, but that is alot. Over the winter The gate stopped working and was left open to allow people to get in and out. But that meant ANYONE could get in and out, leaving the units unsecured. If my rent is doubled in that short time I would think it unacceptable to have the gates open 24/7 for 3 months. Not an expert but I would think there were some shops locally that could get the gate repaired quicker than waiting for the usual property manager. The units themselves were good. No water got in and they have lights in unit. The way the drainage is set up is very steep to drive in the lot and to load and unload you must lean to the side or block the entire aisle. Also they DO NOT provide 24/7 access to your unit....the 2 closer storage places to me both allowed 24/7 access. ... Read more

They tried to raise my rate by $100 which was more than double what I was paying. I had only been there for 2 months while they tried to double my rate. The manager was able to get the rate increase reduced but it still ended up going up by 1/3 of the cost. This is wrong and takes advantage of knowing people already have their stuff in there and don’t have much of a choice. They are easy to get a hold of which is good but do not appreciate the unexpected rate increase. ... Read more

Andy was fantastic, very helpful and friendly, greeted me by name and even helped search their other properties for travel trailer parking/storage for me. Prices are great (got a 10x10' storage for the same price I was paying elsewhere for a 5x8' close!) and closer to home! Not sure why I didn't get a unit here sooner! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Prime Storage - 10 Prospect Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Prime Storage - 10 Prospect Drive start from $75 and can go up to $406 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
