Good rate.....clean building.....didn't like the location of my unit, but I'll sacrifice because of the rate.....thought the "mandatory" content insurance is a scam. I've had units with Uhaul and Budget Store & Lock & never had to purchase "mandatory" content insurance. They made me print my insurance policy to show I had content coverage anywhere included, which I thought is none of their business. With approx 2000 units on site, @ min of $9.00 insurance (there were 3 more higher amounts) = $18,000 cold cash a month - $216,000 a year. If you had renters insurance or homeowners that covered your contents outside the house, the "mandatory" insurance requirement was waived ...... clerk was pleasant and helpful...... would be a 4 or 5 star if not for your money grab "mandatory" content insurance requirement. ... I really liked this space especially because of the climate control and it looked so clean inside unfortunately we picked up our things after leaving our items for July-October and everything was filled with rat feces, almost every single box. Our $3,000 couches filled with rat poop. I’m just extremely disappointed. The lady did apologize to me which I appreciated but nothing else was offered other than to file a claim and possibly receive $500 for the loss. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you don’t have things of value that you need to store. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Allentown Warehouse Style - 645 North Jordan Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Onsite Manager and Multi-Level Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
