Very Very happy to see that this property has a security patrol! Met them tonight. My family has rented other storage units in Tulsa and each has been broken into. None of them had any security. Thank you for caring and making an investment in security! ... Read more

Unit was broken into will never go here again, Oh and I was only there a month. Edit. It has been over 3 months since my storage has been broken into. I have since then moved out three separate times twice online and once over the phone but they say that I can’t “move out” because I left one or two things in there which I couldn’t give a crap about. The things I miss the most were my wife’s very expensive jewelry and almost all of her grandpas things that cannot be replaced. I do not care about the things in there you can throw it away for all I care but I will not be paying a DIME to a place that had my stuff broken into not once but twice (there was another break in this month) so please stop reaching out because like I said I will give you nothing ... Second time we’ve had out units broken into since this company has taken ownership. We have had units for over 25 years and never a problem. Then the new ownership came in. Typical of a large company. They just don’t care. We’ll be leaving just like everyone else that got broken into. ... Read more

Update - beware of a black toyota corrola that is breaking into units here. Tall african american man and small caucasion woman working together. He either has the code to gate or rents a unit there and has access. Someone saw him taking stuff from our unit today. There is also an african american woman living in the climate controlled units who was speaking with these two today. Police were given their tag number/description. Review: Previous owners had security on site each night at half the cost of the price to rent. We were notified recently of our unit being broken into for probably the fourth time since weve had the unit. They usually put a lock on our unit temporarily until we can make it over to replace it. They said they couldn't do that this time. At the same time the gate wasn't working properly so it was only 9 to 5 and we couldnt make it in that time frame while our unit sat completely open. We finally made it over to put a lock on it today and one of the other renters that was there stopped us and asked if this was our unit because someone was there not 10 minutes before we showed up with our unit wide open rummaging through things. They described a large african american male in a black car. Rent has increased 70% since we first rented our unit and the quality of service, safety, and security of this place has gone downhill consistently. There are homeless people sleeping in the grass everywhere in this area and it is just not a location for a storages that can't afford 24/7 security and quality cameras on site. The apartments across the street from this location aren't great and people jump the gate and get in all the time. Its been an awful experience and I could not recommend this place. ... Read more

They have roaches at this place BEWARE. I mentioned it when I noticed them months ago and they didn't seem to Do anything they got worse and worse. And they were in my unit than I treated my unit and every door in my hallway. And then suddenly they were gone after a month of me treating my stuff but I still see them in other hallways. on top of that when I was moving out they charged me am entire months rent bc I moved out of my unit was late for work snd rushed to get to work and then when I got to The office they said that they needed a picture of the insider unit. Well, that was 45 minutes out after I had already left the unit, and they were closed to boot and I could not access my unit anymore. So they charged me a whole entire month because I didn't send them a picture which they were still in the office. When I left for the office because my time was limited They could have walked down there and checked them out as empty. But they did not instead. They charged me and entire month's rent for nothing they are scheming assholes ... Read more

I have rented storage from them for sometime and in the beginning I got a little concerned due to the knowledge of the office employees not being able to answer just simple questions. Recently I have decided that is where I would use a storage if needed again due to the new office manager Theresia. She is absolutely wonderful! Very helpful kind and and willing to go out of her way to help anyone. I have seen it first hand and she is definitely an asset to this company. Thank you Theresia ... Read more

RESPONDED TO THE REPLY AND I CALLED AND THEY NOTHING CHANGED LIARS AND THIEVES Spoke with New manager Nick and very helpful and great listener. Found out why no video and let’s hope Storelocal does the right thing. UPDATE- DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! THIEVES AND LIARS DO NOT PAY FOR THE PROTECTION PLAN IT DOES NOT PROTECT ANYTHING IT IS NOT INSURANCE. **MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE** *** NOT A SAFE PLACE *** *** THEY WELCOME THEVES AND PUNISH THE VICTIM *** one star too many. the first night i put things into my unit someone cut my lock and stole my belongings. apparently they did not get enough so came back the next evening to take more. filed a report and claim bc they charge $9 a month for “insurance” (you must read what scam they have going with that description) 2-3 days after i report the burglary i receive a note on my unit that i am being evicted and have 5 days to remove my belongings and i am locked out bc i need permission to have access to my belongings and reason given is the owner is allowed to do so for any reason just because. i’m given 5 days when someone is available to let me in and they are closed on saturday and sunday. I AM PAID IN FULL AND I WAS ROBBED and i am being treated as the criminal. when spoke to manager about the burglary she responded with “many locks have been cut, trying to get rid of the riff raff and apparently is just fine letting people live in units and conduct business from units bc she spoke as it is a normal thing for the evening crew (people in and out all night) doing things i reported. whoever stole my things has the code to gate and into building and come to find out the codes are the same for everyone. the storage facility is set up perfect for robbers. cameras are limited and the thieves will not be seen and if seen staff ignores and rewards. fence is broke and gate always open. google storelocal and research this place. they take a monthly fee for a service that is forced bc it is suppose to protect the customer but it is a lie. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storelocal Storage - 4512 East 51st Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
