We decid d we did not need another storage unit so called and no answer. Drove over and no one in office. Called ##on door. No answer. Someone finally called us and we told them we did not need the unit. They said ok we will cancel your move in. We then received a bill for the first month that we had to pay!! Why have an office if you are never there for customers??? ... Read more

I want to give a big shout out to Mandi today at the Coweta location of Public Storage. She was so knowledgeable and immediately was able to resolve my issue and provide me with the unit I needed at the location I wanted. I was so impressed with her level of customer service, it’s not often you get this in todays DIY digital environment. She provided lots of information to ensure I would be able to use the app and get onto the property. She asked good questions to guide me so I got exactly what I needed at the. Thank you Mandi. Public Storage is lucky to have a professional like you on board. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 8307 East 81st Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 8307 East 81st Street start from $61 and can go up to $285 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
