For the most part, very nice. Clean and despite it seems like alot of RV's very private!!! Owner is easy to work with and addresses any issues there are, which is few and far between!! Picked for the cable and wifi, neither are available!!! Laundry room and shower area is always clean and comfortable!!! Great access to almost everything, food, entertainment, highway, ect. ... I had to cancel and paper work from them stated a $10 charge , but they charged $25 for a cancelation that was canceled 12 days prior to the stay date. I called to get it corrected but instead was accused of being hostile when I wasn't swearing or yelling, but stating the facts. ... Read more

This is an older park and the spots are small, but Nick(owner for 6mos) goes out of his way to make sure you know the best route into your spot and that you know the history of the park. The location is also very convenient to Bixby and to Downtown Tulsa, where we visited several breweries and drove parts of Route66 on our stay. Don't let the appearance of the park fool you. There are numerous long term residents, but this place is the quietest we've stayed and the people we met there were all very friendly. We spent six nights there, and I slept better there than at other RV parks we've been at recently. If/when we get back to Tulsa, we will have them on the short list. ... Read more

Hello fellow travelers truckers or even true Oklahomans. Looking for a place to stay over night a few days how about a few months. Call them reserve a spot even if it's a month out I did. Friendly Owners also the people around it's very quiet literally quiet. Laundry on-site plus men and women updated shower facilities. Stay Blessed everyone just know I stay on-site 4 months so this is real. ... Read more

This RV park is quiet and low maintenance, not too bad to stay. We’ve been here for a couple weeks now and hadn’t had issues until management posted a sign on the bathroom door about not supplying toilet paper anymore for the shared bathrooms. At the rates tenants are paying to stay here I see no problem supplying toilet paper. Tenants have tried to object, but management doesn’t seem to see an issue with no toilet paper. There was already no hand soap or paper towels for hand washing, but now no toilet paper. ... Read more

The thing that stood out most to me about this park was they mentioned they don’t allow felons on the property. While that might not seem like a big deal in such a small community, I immediately knew that I would be staying with Route 66 for the added safety. The prices are very wonderful compared to so many parks within about 50 miles. Russell is the grounds manager, and he’s been extremely helpful and accessible for the duration of my stay. All the lots are easily accessible with plenty of parking. I suppose my only “complaint” is the bathrooms in the bathhouse could use a facelift, but most sites in the area didn’t even offer that amenity. ... Read more

We arrived 2 weeks ago to give it a trial run since we were looking for somewhere to stay until spring. The park has all that we were looking for. It has easy access to the highway, quiet since most are residents and work during the day. I have read previous reviews and the current manager has definitely fixed the issues that others noted. The laundry area is well kept and reasonably priced. The bathroom/shower area could use a face lift, but not too bad. Have not had much interaction with the owner, but the current manager is nice and helpful as well as making sure the park is kept clean. I would definitely recommend for short or long term. We are here til spring. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Route 66 RV Park - 9755 Hwy 66 include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
