Just moved in and am pleased as punch so far! Bishop helped on the phone fabulously getting the spaces I needed lined up. He was empathetic and understanding when I explained my situation, and was friendly, accommodating, diligent and swift when it came time to sign and pay. When I got there to check out the spaces and fine tune my needs, Kelly was fantastic as well and put the icing on the cake! We had a wonderful chat, she had helpful knowledge about the property and made sure I was happy with my spaces, she was super sweet and both, Kelly and Bishop, were customer focused while maintaining the integrity of company policy. I was able to move in with ease and the app made it simple to come and go as needed. I feel like my stuff will be safe there and am happy to have found this place. Right on for having these great people! Woot! ... Read more

I had a issue with my credit cards and securing my unit but the lady at the front desk , her name is Kelly , was very personable and helpful and even stayed almost an hour over time to go home to help me so I really appreciate that. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE ! RENT WITH ANY PLACE OTHER THAN HERE! THEY RAISED MY RENT WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME AND THEN OVER CHARGED MY BANK THEREFORE OVERDRAFTING MY ACCOUNT (I ONLY KEEP JUST ENOUGH FOR MY BILLS) THEN CHARGING ANOTHER$45 FEE BECAUSE MY BANK ONLY APPROVED THE ORIGINAL RENT PAYMENT AMOUNT. ON TOP OF ALL THAT, THEY TURNED MY GATE CODE OFF EVEN AFTER RECEIVING THE MONEY THEY BASICALLY STOLE FROM MY ACCOUNT. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM PLEASE BEWARE! ... Read more

Since Storlocal took over this storage location in late 2021, rates have skyrocketed by 103%. The company actively encourages new customers to leave five-star reviews, which has created a misleading positive impression that does not reflect the actual quality of their business practices. **Edited to respond**: While I understand your explanation about the upgrades, I don’t believe I should be paying higher rates for climate-controlled units that I don’t use. Those features should be reflected in the price of the climate-controlled units themselves. & as a customer, the cameras and app gate entry don’t justify the steep 103% rate increase (142.00/month for a 10x10) or the 25 dollar autopay fee you announced today.. Christmas must have cleared your pockets. Also, if the rising market and operational costs are such a concern, perhaps it would make more sense to focus on the basics instead of adding unnecessary features that have raised the cost to the point of driving away long term customers. Regarding communication, I did reach out via email and phone, right after receiving your lovely email that frustrated many on New Year's morning (as confirmed by the voicemail from your team). Also during that voicemail, they promised to 'submit a request' to either maintain the current outrageous rent or reduce the excessive increase. "No promises though" Thankfully, I’ve found a family-owned storage facility that offers rates more in line with what I was originally paying here. Happy New Year's. ... Read more

Myself and my girlfriend rented a storage unit at the Oklahoma City Southwest 44th location. Immediately after walking in and conducting our business with the storage I knew then that we were being conned.. I paid 68 Dollars for 13 days use of the unit before I was asked to pay another 77 Dollars. I paid 145 dollars in one month 5 dollars. Here's the kicker I was locked out of my storage we paid the due balance only to unload our house up in two trucks just to make it to the storage in the freezing cold to discover our access gate code wouldn't work. The guy behind the desk remembered to mention and include every late fee and other fees but fail to remember to grant us access into a designed 24 hours gate access. His failure to do his job thoroughly cost myself and my girlfriend to be late for work today. We had to mainly stay up all night watching our property on the back of our truck because we couldn't access the storage. I truly feel like every dollar should be reimbursed. This was nothing but a hardship ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storelocal Storage - 5300 SE 44th Street include the following amenities: Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 420 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storelocal Storage - 5300 SE 44th Street start from $40 and can go up to $140 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
