Read some helpful reviews of Storelocal Storage at 1300 South MacArthur Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I was looking for a storage place I decided to drive by this one that was close to my house and I drive by and I see the manager of the storage place yelling curse words and flipping off multiple customers in the parking lot. And yes I said the manager she was wearing the store local shirt No matter what the customer did they should not have embarrassed the company like that, that could have been handled a whole different way. I No I would never have a employee embarrassing my company like that in public. That was enough for me to choose a different place. Do not get a storage there horrible place ... Read more

First of all, they were very kind and professional in the office when I began my rental. Never really had any problems. I rented a parking space for my travel trailer, the spaces are marked with lines on the cement. My unit did get backed into fortunately it was not much damage just scuffs. Just take that into consideration when renting a parking space. Very nice people. I recommend them. The whole place is kept very clean and neat. ... Read more

I spent a few years storing personal items in this location. Always paid on time. If I had been late once, my time supporting this business would have ended right then. My credit card expired at the end of the year, and I found out who this company really is. I put up with the 4+ increases in monthly charges. But after 5 days and finding the email about the rent being late (in a sea of Christmas sale spam email), It would be hard for me to remember having a worse customer experience. I went in on the 6th to grab a few things and pay by cash until I get my new card in the mail, but my code was frozen. I went inside to pay by cash and see why my gate code didn't work, and I had to pay a late fee + rent (late fee after 5 days late). I get to my unit and I have to go back to the office because they locked me out with a lock on my unit. I rented from them for years; not just a couple months, and they made me feel like a criminal for missing an email after forgetting my card expiration date. If you need short term, beware, they will raise the rate as soon as they can. I should have found a new unit after 6 months, the first time they went up. They would have gotten a better review from me if I had left then. ... Read more

Horrible Experience - before anyone tries to say oh, this is a person upset because they didn’t pay their bill we pay on time every single month!!! I'm writing this review as a warning to others: avoid this storage facility at all costs! Our experience has been an absolute nightmare. Our storage unit was broken into not once, but TWICE! The first time, we thought it was just an unfortunate incident. However, when it happened again, we realized that something was seriously wrong. I'm almost positive that the previous manager was involved in the break-ins. Why? Because they told us that we were only allowed to use a specific lock on our storage unit. This lock was extremely easy to cut, and it seemed suspicious that we were restricted to using such an insecure lock. After the first break-in, we tried to reach out to the previous manager for assistance, but they were completely unhelpful and evasive. They seemed more interested in avoiding us than in resolving the issue. Fast-forward to the second break-in, and the facility had a new manager. When we spoke to them, they told us that we were always allowed to use a different, more secure lock on our storage unit. This directly contradicts what the previous manager had told us. A police report was filed, and the new manager claimed that they believed they knew who the perpetrators were. Apparently, they were people who were improperly residing on the premises, which is against the facility's policy. This puts the storage facility at fault for not enforcing their own rules. Despite all this, nothing has been done to compensate us for our losses. We paid for storage insurance, but so far, we haven't received a dime. The items that were stolen are not only valuable but also hold sentimental value. My late father had given me some of the items that were stolen, and I have no way of getting them back. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and traumatic. We're still paying for two storage units, and it feels like we're being taken advantage of. Oh, and they randomly raise the prices of the storage units and didn’t tell us until the month before. Not even a full month. Unless this matter is resolved to our satisfaction, I'll be forced to take further action. This includes filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General, and pursuing legal action. I'll also be sharing my horrible experience with local news outlets to warn others. Avoid this storage facility at all costs! The lack of security, the unhelpful management, and the overall disregard for customers' property make it a risky and frustrating place to store your belongings. ... Read more

First let me start by saying anyone complaining about this place 9 times out of 10 it's because that person got kicked out because of something they did that they was not suppose to be doing on the property. I myself got a notice of termination on both my units but I'm not going to sit here and lie on this place because it's my own fault I got N.O.T.'ed. Well I blame it in the storm since I don't like storms but enough of that. This place is a great place to store your things. Customer service is top notch. Alan is great like him a lot. Shawna is a wonderful lady. The new girl (sorry I forgot your name) she is so sweet. Then we have Bonnie. Bonnie is the manager and she is the best. I absolutely love her. She will bend over backwards to help you. However, if you are doing something you are not suppose to be doing like parking in a unit that didn't belong to you to hide from a storm that's a no no and you will get N.O.T.'ed as you should and you have no one to blame but yourself. Yes burglarys happened here but I promise that it has happened at ever last storage facility on this planet. My unit got broken into 2 months ago and I don't think there has been any since then. Also my claim was settled lightning fast like less then a month after it happened. I also rented here because it was 24/7 and after the burglarys they did change the hours of access which I don't blame them because I would have did the same if it was my business. They did it to make it safe for everyone and everyone's property. If you don't rent from here you have got to be out of your mind. So don't let any of those bad reviews deture you from renting here because I'm here to tell you they have the best prices, the absolute best customer service and IT'S SECURE. I love this place so much I'm going to come visit everyone every chance I get lol. Now with all that being said This place rocks. Go get em Bonnie!! I'm going to miss everyone here (even the owners and everyone at home office Even though I don't know y'all) love all y'all take care. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storelocal Storage - 1300 South MacArthur Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 450 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storelocal Storage - 1300 South MacArthur Blvd start from $14 and can go up to $230 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
