EDIT: I’ve left the original review for posterity, but I was fully in the wrong! I couldn’t open my unit because of, essentially, my own incompetence. I called and left several messages outside of office hours because su was frustrated in that moment, and a manager reached out to me the very next morning to help me out and make things right, which they did. The staff was super patient when, frankly, I was rude. will say the hours listed on google are not the office hours. The office hours are 9-4 Monday-Friday, and to my understanding office hours vary on weekends. Great experience from these folks. OLD REVIEW BELOW Just bought a unit, the hours are not correct or if they are then it is just not staffed. All the information I was given on the website, said that my unit would be ready on today’s date, but my unit is still locked and no one is answering the phone or the office door. I can access the property and find my unit though so that is nice. It’s entirely possible I have done something incorrectly, but I’ve double checked all information I’ve been given and it does not seem like it. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 48 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 3401 North Bryant Avenue start from $57 and can go up to $185 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
