I wished I had done more research on this place before I moved in. There is mold throughout the apartment. I had a water leak in the pipes off the hor water tank and mold was all over the floor was wall. They fixed the water leak then spray painted the wall white so you couldn't see the mold anymore. Every time I done laundry you could still smell the musty smell In August I left on vacation. While I was got they texted me they would be going in to spray. I came home 2 days later to find the keys still in my door and unlocked. My AC went out at the end of August and they couldn't figure it out. They put a window unit in the bedroom and it was better part of 2 weeks before they figure out it was the relay switch. Every time they go in to spray, they leave lights on and move furniture around and don't put it back. Thanksgiving weekend I started a fire in the fire place only to find out there is a huge Crack in the back of the fireplace but was covered up with black spray paint. Needless to say, paint and fire does not mix. I never built another fire after that. When they fixed the water leak, they spray painted all the mold white so you couldn't see it anymore. I told them several times every time I done laundry I couldn't still smell musty mold smell but nothing was done about it. The thermostat went out when I was out of town working and again it was the guessing game to see who was right about what was wrong. The maintenance has no clue as to what they are doing oh and let's not forget my mailbox key that was keyed twice and it still wouldn't close all t he way because they put a file cabinet lock on it..... I crazy is that. This was the worst place I have ever lived in and I strongly urge people to do they research before moving into this place ... Read more

Please beware of Eastlake apts!!! I’ve never in my life dealt with non professional people. The management has no clue what to do how to delegate or anything! My apartment was infested with ants, roaches and super old appliances. My utility closet flooded and my apt smelled of mildew up until I moved out. They did nothing about the issue over and over after sending maintenance to shop back but not fixing the initial issue. My first day I moved in water came pouring from upstairs in my bathroom, my dryer broke, and the ants were biting me and my toddler at night, I was literally scared to go to sleep. They let dogs poop all over the community, imagine walking out the door and stepping on poop. ... Read more

My daughter and I have been here since December 20 23 we ran into a situation with our previous place that we lived and they worked with us to get us into a great two bedroom apartment and Cara stayed late on Christmas Eve so I could get off work and sign for the keys Anytime I've ever had a problem. They have worked with me and have been very helpful. The maintenance staff has been prompt in getting any issue. I've had taken care of and if it's taking a little bit of time like the air conditioner going out with the temperatures being below 70 when it's not ideal to Charge them, they have given me their words that it will be fixed promptly and the next stretch of warm days it was fixed. I would highly recommend. I have had nothing but good experiences with the ladies in the office and the gentleman in the maintenance crew. And they love dogs ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Eastlake Village Mini-Storage - 12901 South Western Avenue include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
