Update as of 8/26/25 Myself nor my husband have heard from KO storage as promised.. Shocker... KO Storage is breaking Oklahoma law. Yes, I was behind due to other circumstances — but that does not give them the right to ignore state law and sell my unit illegally. Oklahoma Statute 42 O.S. §191–197 requires a written notice with the date, time, and place of sale before a lien sale. KO sent vague notices without this required information, making the sale illegal. They also charged me nearly triple their own posted standard rate, violating Oklahoma’s Consumer Protection Act (15 O.S. §751 et seq.) prohibiting deceptive and unfair billing practices. Everyone should check KO’s website against what you’re actually being billed. I’ve provided proof with my statement and their posted rate. If you’re being overcharged, contact the Oklahoma Attorney General — KO isn’t BBB-accredited, so go straight to the state. ... Read more

?? Warning about KO Storage ?? Please be careful if you’re thinking about storing with KO Storage. They advertise one rate online (about $46/month) but charged me $100/month and then threatened auction when I disputed it. They’ve already illegally auctioned off my wife’s unit without proper notice, and now I’m forced to pay just to keep them from doing the same to mine. They’ve ignored multiple emails and can’t be trusted to deal fairly with customers. I’ve filed a complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney General. Our small community deserves better — especially our older neighbors who shouldn’t be taken advantage of. If you need storage, look elsewhere! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at KO Storage - 12909 East Britton Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by KO Storage - 12909 East Britton Road start from $29 and can go up to $149 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
