    I need a storage unit while in the midst of moving and Storelocal seemed like a great option at the time. However, I was quickly shown that this facility was not the best. While their rates are competitive and they’re in a convenient location, there’s so many problems that I’m surprised nobody else has brought up. Firstly, the air conditioning never works! I went to my units multiple times and the AC was always between 90-99. I understand that they keep it higher to reduce costs, but when the heat is so unbearable that it makes it hard to move things around, it becomes a problem. I had spoken with their customer service multiple times and it’s never been fixed. Also, there’s tons of rodent traps which makes me think that there’s actually an issue and it’s not done for prevention. If you’re in need of a storage unit, I encourage you to look elsewhere.     Wow, Kenny Taylor with the StoreLocal Storage corporate support area did a great job of taking ownership and leaning in to a service issue I had today. He went above and beyond in making sure my issue around my renter's insurance submission was taken care of. There were challenges with communicating with the local team on getting it resolved. I know the property owner and didn't want these issues to create reputational risk for the property and the business. This property is in a highly growing area and the reputational risk is highly important.     The facility in Bixby is really well setup. It’s new, clean, and laid out well for access. The manager, Abby, did a phenomenal job getting me set up.     Avoid the place at all cost 30 days late the cut your lock and the fees start. Less than 90 days and our stuff was auctioned off before I could even get them caught up. They did not send us the legal paperwork to auction our stuff off and I will sue the shit out of them now. They are worse than THIEVES. RENTER BEWARE ... Read more

    Stay away! This facility changed ownership several months after I had become a customer. The new ownership charged me a late fee even though I was using auto-draft with the previous one. I was informed that auto-draft did not carry over causing my payment to be four days late. Within that time, I stopped by to pay, but there was a sign on the door stating no one was in the office and to call a number. I called (4 days after the due date) and was assessed a late fee. I asked to discuss with a manager and was refused... literally refused. Other events that occurred In the 2 years I was there: - There was a string of burglaries. The person was removing the panels of the indoor units and taking items. - My wife's (fiancee at he the time) had her stuff damaged due to water. The items were not replaced or compensated, even though she had insurance. She even had frogs in her unit, which was indoors! - My rent was raised twice. - The customer service was nonexistent. I had finally had enough and piled my belongings into the garage and a room of the house I moved into. (Attached are several pictures taken of the damaged boxes located in my wife's unit.) ...
