The carts are consistently flat, and the backdoor is locked, preventing us from unloading our couch and other heavy items. There are two locked docks at the back that we cannot access. Since it was Monday, there was no one available to assist us. Unfortunately, we ended up wasting money on the U-Haul truck and the helpers, forcing us to rent a storage unit across the street by the home depot. ... Read more

Disappointing Experience with Arrogant Manager - Peter? I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this storage company, and I must say, the management is simply unacceptable. The regional manager exhibits a level of arrogance that is not only unprofessional but also detrimental to customer service. Instead of addressing concerns with empathy, they respond with condescension, making me feel undervalued as a customer. The lack of basic courtesy and respect is astounding for someone in a leadership position. It's clear that this management team doesn't prioritize the needs of their clients, and I would not recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for reliable and customer-focused service. Save your time and money—there are better options available. The trustee of this company needs to pay attention on what is going on with the manager. ... Read more

I wish there was 24 hour access, but the hours are decent. The facility manager is awesome! She is empathetic, courteous, and extremely helpful. The climate control actually works, unlike others that I visited. This is my 3rd storage unit in various parts of the country. What I have learned is that the small companies are WAY BETTER and less manipulative than Public Storage. ... Read more

Cheap but filthy. Rented an outdoor spot for my old car. No pedestrian access. You can get in with a code but you can't get out unless you are in a car. At least it wasn't posted how to get out. The spot next to mine has a rotting couch and other random junk that is clearly garbage. Seems like it would make sense to clean up after renters leave their crap behind. The lady working the phones was polite and helpful, she gets 5 stars. The facility is typical west side sadness. It was once nice but that was a long time ago. ... Read more

Overall it’s a good nice quiet clean place to store your items. The only downside is they add on to your bill every month with any fees they can think of. I started off paying $70+ ending after two years paying $100+ so therefore they prices are not locked in. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Cincinnati Storage - 737 West 6th Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Cincinnati Storage - 737 West 6th Street start from $26 and can go up to $420 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
