Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 3825 US Highway 1, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Terrible experience at this storage facility. The staff is rude and not willing to listen or even try to understand your needs. Instead of helping or offering solutions, they make you feel like you’re bothering them. Absolutely no customer service skills here. If you value respect and basic courtesy, look elsewhere. I wanted to rent a unit and left. ... Read more

5 months, hole never fixed, dirty unit full of bugs—and they wanted me to pay to move. Awful service. I moved into Public Storage in April 2025, and from day one it was a bad experience. When I first moved in, I noticed a hole on the outside of my unit and asked them to fix it so vermin couldn’t get inside. Months went by, and despite multiple follow-ups, the repair was never completed. Each time I checked back, I was told a work order was in, or that a contractor hadn’t shown up, or that they needed one of my keys to get inside. Still, nothing was done. After nearly five months of waiting, I finally asked the manager to either fix it immediately or move me to another unit. The manager agreed, but when I went to the office, I was told I would have to pay to move my things to a different unit. I refused—why should I pay when the only reason I needed to move was because they never fixed the original unit? They suggested I pay upfront and then “request a credit” on my next bill, which made no sense. At that point, I decided to move my belongings out entirely. The only part of this process that went smoothly was moving out. Bernice, the staff member who helped me, was polite and understanding, but even she acknowledged why I was frustrated. To make matters worse, the unit itself was dirty from the beginning—covered in spider webs, bugs, and just generally unpleasant. This was my first time using outdoor storage, and I will never use Public Storage again. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and terrible customer service made this a stressful and disappointing experience. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for storage. ... This place is unethical. They raised my rates 2 times already in less than a year. I would not recommend doing business with them. They lure you in with an introductory rate and the continue raise rates every 3 months or so. Horrible experience beware of this scam!!! ... Read more

I rent two units at this location and can say that the facility is well maintained, clean, and well lit. Furthermore, the staff is kind and very helpful. Special kudos go out to Jaedyn and Tim! I don't know what I would have done without their assistance today! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 3825 US Highway 1 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 3825 US Highway 1 start from $38 and can go up to $326 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
