Read some helpful reviews of Go Store It at 119 Weaverville Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Upon entering the virtual portal at the Woodfin storage site, one quickly encounters a human on live video, who identified my account and existing locker. This was Krystal, very helpful. Within minutes a transfer to a larger locker was arranged at favorable entry rates. Most pleasantly, we were able to arrange timing to optimize my availability and minimize dual billing. Highly recommended. ... Read more

I’ve had a very easy time getting my storage needs met here. After the storm, when I was offered a reduced rate at another facility and it turned out to be inaccessible, they matched my price at Woodfin for the first six months of my lease. Move in was simple and affordable, and access is easy. Canceling the month-to-month lease seems easy and won’t require a month or more notice in advance. Things I would change: 24 hour access would be nice, and in-person office workers would be great because I hate when technology replaces human interaction. That said, however, the *show-up-and-talk-to-a-live-person-virtually* setup is actually quite easy and the folks on the other side of the screen (working from home) have always been kind, helpful, and understanding (especially Jon!) and I’ve never had to wait to be helped. ... My rent on my unit tripled after 2 months for what they said was higher operating costs. Which is funny because as anew customer you can get the same rate that I paid initially which was $49 a month. My new rate was $146 a month. Just crazy! I called and they lowered my rent to $92 a month just from a phone call which is still an outrageous increase. But she was helpful in doing that but only 4 stars because I feel like I’m getting scammed and I have no way to move my stuff considering it’s January and we just had a huge ice storm here. So now I’m stuck for at least another month until I figure something else out. ... Read more

SCROLLDOWN!!!!! AND READ ABOUT THE BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM!!!!! They will get you to sign up at a price, and then MORE THAN DOUBLE IT, two months after you have moved iN. These people have DISHONORABLE BUSINESS MODEL, AND THEY PREY ON PEOPLE. I signed up for a 9 x 20' moved all my stuff in and two months later I got a notice. In my case, I paid ~$190 two months and the notice said "your rent has gone up" starting next month you will pay $469 PER MONTH. I called them with 3 weeks notice to let them know I was moving out on 1/31/26, and moved most of my stuff out by 1/20, they sent me a notice "that I had moved out on 1/21/26 even though THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE WHOLE MONTH. When I called to get reimbursed..they said nope, we saw you were moving out so we officially checke you out. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES!!!!...It's not just me..SCROLL DOWN AND READ MANY OTHERS WHOM DESCRIBED THE SAME EXPERIENCE. I wish I would have heeded their advise...YOU SHOULD TOO!!! READ THE OTHER REVIEWS..WHERE OTHERS GOT SCAMMED BELOW!!! THEY PLAY THE ABOVE GAME, HOPING YOU WON'T MOVE OUT AFTER YOU PUT ALL YOUR STUFF IN THERE, THEY BET ON YOUR HARDSHIP TO HAVE TO MOVE OUT ...AGAIN.. ... Read more

I am writing to express my concern regarding the increased monthly charge for my 10 X 10 storage unit at Go Store It Self-Storage, from $141.00 to $195.00, without prior notification or explanation. Furthermore, upon visiting the facility to retrieve my belongings, I encountered an issue with the lock, as my key would not turn. This suggests that my unit may have been relocated or the lock changed without my knowledge or consent. I would like to request assistance in resolving this matter and retrieving my belongings as soon as possible, as I am disappointed in the lack of transparency and communication displayed by Go Store It Self-Storage. #badbusinesspractices #gostoreit Go Store It Self-Storage ... I wanted to respond on a positive note after receiving a call from Duva from customer service about the review I posted below. She listened to my complaint and was able to adjust my increase so that it wasn’t such a huge increase. I appreciated her kindness and helpful attitude. Thank you. I have rented a storage unit at Go Store It in Woodfin, NC since May 2025. I was notified 3 months later of an increase in my rate of 50%. I understand that rates will go up over time but I was shocked of an increase of this amount after such a short time. I believe there must be a mistake, certainly a reputable company would not treat their customers this way. I have tried to reach out to speak to someone but have not been successful. Except for the rate increase, I have been very pleased with the facility. It is clean, well maintained and seems safe. I hope to be able to continue renting my space but if a price adjustment is not made I will need to look elsewhere. Please contact me to discuss. ... Read more

I got a call from Go Store It that my payment was late...how could that be as it was set up as autopay. But upon speaking with Ranjith, I found out something went wrong and he proceeded to rectify the situation, and patiently helped me through the esign process as I was experiencing problems on my phone...but his patience won out and the task was completed, for which I was extremely grateful, thank you Ranjith! ... Unfortunately I have had to edit my previous 5 star review. I have rented a unit here for only 3 months and was just notified of a rate increase of 50%. Rent has gone up from $283 to $424. While I understand that increases are inevitable, I feel this excessive and probably an error. Please reevaluate. I would love to continue to rent my unit here as it is clean and secure, I have been pleased with the facility. ... Read more

Rates will double 60 days in…. So there’s the “in store rate” and the “online rate”. So call and they book the online rate, then 60 days in you get an email saying it’s been increased to the in store rate. I’ve had a unit for a year and a half. The first unit I made it roughly a year before a rate increase of 30%. The last unit made it 90 days before a 40% increase. My third unit made it 62 days before a 44% increase. It would be cheaper to drag my stuff into the parking lot and set it on fire at this point. I’d rather pay a year up front to lock in the online rate. Btw, I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes, at 11am on a Tuesday and can’t get anyone on the phone. They used to have someone on site, it’s now online and all remote management. It’s gone downhill fast. Which sucks because the facility is phenomenal, I guess rents just gone up that much that they have to rug pull rent prices once they get you in the door. I’ve also been on hold the whole time writing this review… ... Read more

**Buyer beware- do yourself a favor and look elsewhere when storing your stuff. If I could give zero stars I would. Management is impossible to get a hold of and if you do get a human to speak with they provide zero help. They lure you in with a low introductory rate and quickly ratchet your monthly bill up. We started at 250$ for a 10x20 and are now paying almost 500$! Meanwhile the online rate to sign up is 375 and they refuse to adjust mine down. They’ll cite adjusting to market rates to justify their actions Look elsewhere..there are much better options. As of writing this management has yet to call me back to address this issue ***EDIT- despite management’s comment below I still have yet to hear from anyone ... Read more

They raised the rates on me two times in one year! This is a nice place and I like that every floor has an entrance (no elevator). Rented a 10' by 10' unit for $169 per month. Three months later got a rent raise notice to $193. Nine months later they sent me a letter they were going up to $273! That's a 61% increase in one year. I think they know what a pain it is to move, so they are going to keep squeezing their tenants. Other GoStoreIt's are much cheaper, so shop around and be prepared for this location to push your rent up as much as they can. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Go Store It - 119 Weaverville Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Go Store It - 119 Weaverville Road start from $44 and can go up to $232 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
