I have rented with this business since 2011; They have been absolutely AMAZING. This lot is always very clean. Mr Jason and his assistant has ALWAYS been extremely pleasant and have ALWAYS provided nothing less than the absolute best service for me. I have no complaints at all. I HIGHLY recommend this business as #1 in the area for your storage needs. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars is not a high enough rating for this business!!!! ... Read more

Untrustworthy. My debit card was stolen and because I was on auto pay the charge for the month didn’t go through. We were not notified and all items were auctioned. Don’t care about the material things that equaled thousands of dollars but the heartless manager made no effort to try to recover our family heirlooms, journals and pictures from 35 years ago. Don’t trust these crooks. ... Read more

I called earlier in the day asking about a unit and they said they didn’t close until 6 pm. I called the lady at 5:30 pm to give a heads up about how we were coming to get a unit. The lady, named Tanya, said she had already left and was about to be in FarmVille, this being at 5:30 pm, when they don’t close til 6. but she said she would see what she could do. She called me back and asked how far I was from there. I told her 7 minutes. She said ok and that she would meet me. Because of traffic it took us about 10-13 mins instead of 7 minutes. We sat there for 30 minutes, didn’t receive a call about how far she was, or nothing. I tried calling her multiple times seeing where she was. I had 2 numbers to call her. We got no answer on both. So we decided we were gonna leave cause of waiting for so long. She then calls from a DIFFERENT number than the two we had. I say hello. She says yes? I said who is this? She said this is Tanya with the storage unit. I said hi we are here waiting. She said, you said you would be there in 7 minutes and I left there at 6:05. I said mam, we’ve been waiting here for 30 minutes. And I tried calling you when I got here and you didn’t answer. She said I left there at 6:05 and you weren’t there. I said mam, how is that when you said you were coming from FarmVille? She says I weren’t all the way in FarmVille. I said either way you wouldn’t of been here and back that fast if that was the case. And I have the proof to show when I called her when getting there. She then got an attitude with me and started raising her voice. So I said you don’t need my business. And I hung up. This is appalling to me. We are moving and this unit was in the right place for us to have an easy move. But I can’t stand bad customer service and that’s what I got. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at AAA Security Self Storage - 2288 North Mills Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by AAA Security Self Storage - 2288 North Mills Street start from $60 and can go up to $180 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
