Go Store it is a very clean and bright facility . However, when I did need assistance. It proved to be difficult to get help. After being on hold multiple times and being disconnected each time, I finally was able to connect with Danielle. I explained my complicated situation to her then begged that she not place me on hold again ( as I would be disconnected again). She not only obliged, she had useful suggestions and helped me until I was completely taken care of. She was sweet and patient the entire time we were online together. Five stars to Danielle.?????????? ??One star for the frequency of disconnections using the phone assistance number provided by the website. ... Read more

It was great at the beginning with real human customer service but when moving out and needing to speak with someone when there was an issue, it’s a different story. I’m hoping that someone will see this that works there who I can speak with about my situation which should be really easy to resolve. As soon as that happens, I’ll change my review from 1 star to 5 stars. Unit #1058 at 1113 S. 17th St location. You have my contact as I’ve been getting texts from your AI bots. TIA ... Read more

Logan along with all of the staff I’ve spoken with over the phone, have been very friendly and professional. They listen and get the job done. Same for the 2 managers I spoke with at the Market St.-Midtown location and 17th St. location. I was unable to remain a tenant with this company due to my own personal finances and safety concerns at Midtown location. 17th St. location was chefs kiss as far as meeting my standards. It simply became more than I could afford. The staff are A+ in my experience. ... Read more

READ THE FINE PRINT! I signed up for a unit at a promortional rate of $85 per month and they DOUBLED it three months later. I was expecting it to go up but that's a bait and switch. My friend that is a regional manager for Public Storage said "wow, we would never jack up a rate like that!" when I told him of the increase. They also told me that I could insure my unit with my homeowners if I brought in documentation of coverage, which I did. A couple months later they started charging me $15 per month. When I call about it they said that I had to send in further documentation to corporate....which is NOT what they told me when I moved in. There is $150 cleaning fee with you move out even if there is not a speck of dust in your unit. Maybe an industry standard? But be aware. I came to move in around 530 pm (They close the office at 6). The office worker acted like I was putting him out for coming that close to closing time despite still being a half hour left on the posted hours. When I moved out the office was locked and closed "despite being in normal business hours". There was a shady person that walked/snuck in the out gate when I drove out (it was dark) directly off the adjacent railroad tracks. Also I moved out apparently one day after the deadline for the 30 day notice. Therefore I basically had to pay two months rent (over $300) because they doubled the rate and refused to work with me on one extra day. The whole industry is kind of shady, but these people are praying on suckers to move in cheap and not be in a position to move out. So read every single bit of fine print and expect for your rent to be doubled soon after you move in if you get a promotional rate. Protect yourself! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Go Store It - 1113 South 17th Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Go Store It - 1113 South 17th Street start from $33 and can go up to $210 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
