Called about deleting my card from their system after allowing a friend to use it. They kept the card on file and charged it again. I called and was assured it would not happen again. Guess what it happened again. I called and got fake concern and the run around. I cancelled the card and got a new one so these lying, thieves cannot use it again. Oh by the way, there are fees upon fees. Beware! ... Read more

A nightmare. After several years, and $5616 paid in fees for an RV parking space, we had fraudulent activity on a credit card only used at Storage Sense. As several thousand dollars of charges from Texas had appeared, all evidence of fraud pointed to Storage Sense as the data leak. Our only choice was to pay in person monthly. However, each time I drove to the site, it would take many attempts to find a person on site to pay. As inconvenient as this was, I persisted. The cash to a local number resulted in transfer to a central office who would not listen to the issue, only wanted the credit card number; and it was through that system I believe the fraud occurred. As I am involved in the Western NC rescue effort, my frequent trips to the affected areas found me traveling near Storage Sense. My persistence paid off yesterday when I finally found someone on site. Not a person from that site, but one visiting from another. She took my payment, fees, and late charges and let me in to inspect our RV. They were unable to staff the facility due to “staffing shortages”. She left, assuring me that my exit would not be inhibited. It was inhibited, leaving me locked in the facility for an hour without ability to exit until I convinced the “Corporate” presence that I was trapped. Today we received more messages that additional fees are due, and our code to enter is again disabled. I am sure that below will be a response filled with regret, that they would like to make things better. In my history with storage sense, these will be empty words, with no tangible solution. Buyer beware of this facility. They are a large and corporate presence where bureaucracy and fees are the story, and both personal property and finances are at risk. ... Read more

Ms. Brie took care of me so well that I wish she was my family! She was smiling and happy. She explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I look forward to dealing with her in the future and I know she will be honest and will have my best at heart. Because of her professionalism and kindness I picked Storage Sense. And the safety precautions they have are awesome. Well lighted, cameras, secure locks, large clean units. Perfection! Incredible prices for the awesome services offered by Storage Sense! Very happy customer and impressed! Thank you Storage Sense for helping me out so much. The boxes are top- notch also. I left there very calm and happy knowing that going with Storage Sense made a whole lot of sense! Thank you so much! I'm so glad you are there! 5 stars in every way! Horrible experience. I would give negative stars if it was possible. We needed to change payment methods and no one was ever available to help us. Every time we called we got the run around and not one person ever responded back. Not once did I receive a phone call to try to find a resolution. Now I have a debt collection in my name and they’ve auctioned off everything. The absolute worst business practices and ethics. STEER CLEAR of this place. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Sense - 744 Buffalo Shoals Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Sense - 744 Buffalo Shoals Road start from $24 and can go up to $69 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
