Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 6921 Glenwood Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I’ve been with Public Storage for almost three years, and I truly love it. Tia was incredibly kind and straightforward while helping my husband and me resolve a payment issue. She didn’t give us a hard time at all and genuinely listened to everything we had to say, which made the whole situation much less stressful. She explained that she was new and didn’t know everything yet—but honestly, you couldn’t tell. She spoke with confidence and knowledge, and handled everything so well. I really appreciate Public Storage for taking the time to properly train their staff, and for having such friendly, helpful employees ... Read more

We moved out of our storage unit after 2 years. Along with multiple price increases over this time period, I had zero clue there were people LIVING in the storage units????? 2 cars directly in front of the doors making the entire move more inconvenient than it should’ve been, since they weren’t moving things, in or out of the building. Seemed like there was zero management or employees at the building. Take the risk.. or don’t. ... Read more

I'm giving this 2 stars because the place is clean and seems well secured. Be warned though, they'll randomly increase your monthly rent due to "demand". I don't know boss a $60 increase out of nowhere makes me feel scammed. We only stayed 5 months before getting the price hike and had to move our stuff to another storage place in town with a different company, lesson learned to read fine print of that 7 page lease. I never would've moved our stuff into that storage unit if I had known it would be increased so much in such a short time span after moving in. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 6921 Glenwood Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 6921 Glenwood Avenue start from $43 and can go up to $280 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
