Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 6441 Westgate Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I'd leave 0 stars if possible. Terrible rent gouging location. Started out paying $77 for a 5x15. Jacked my rent up to $280 before I couldn't stand it anymore. The 5x15 I just vacated is now listed as $117; less than 50% of what I was paying when I moved out. There's no one on site to discuss this with it's a "Kiosk" location which means you better hope the kiosk is working. Take your business up the street to Cardinal; get 2x the climate controlled storage for 1/2 of what you'd pay here. ... Read more

I had an amazing customer service experience over the phone with Frances! I was having trouble processing my payment through the app and was getting frustrated, she was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and kind. She walked me through the steps, troubleshooting the issue with me. Unfortunately, my bank then gave me an issue. She let me know how I would be able to make a cash payment so my payment wouldn't be delayed while I waited for the bank to unfreeze my account and have to pay the late fees. What really stood out was her willingness to go the extra mile, making sure I fully understood the solution and that my account was in good standing before ending the call. Given past experiences with other companies where phone support felt rushed or unhelpful, it was refreshing! I truly appreciate the top-notch service and will continue to recommend this location to others. ... Read more

Worst storage experience of my life. Signed up about two years ago for $400/month and right when the first six months was up, they switched the price to $564/month. They then increased the price to $678/month. They are rude and they will scam you. They no longer take card payments over the phone because employees were stealing card numbers and scamming people. If they find out you have something valuable in your unit they will increase the rent until you can’t afford to pay anymore in hopes that you’ll go into auction so they can sell your stuff. They refused at every level (local and corporate) to work with me when I was paying $678/month for my 20’x35’ unit so I moved out and now it’s listed for $382/month for the next sucker. This place is a trap. Please don’t fall for it. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 6441 Westgate Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 6441 Westgate Road start from $44 and can go up to $276 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
