Pulled my boat out of storage Saturday April 29th around 3pm. Called Monday may 1st to let the staff know I would no longer need the spot, staff stated the payments were drafted that morning and they can’t give refunds. I asked to speak to the office manager and was told she would call me back. By the end of the day I had not received a call back so I decided to call and speak with her. She stated I should have called the EMERGENCY line to let them know I was moving my stuff out, told her I wasn’t going to bother someone after hours on a Saturday on an emergency line for a non emergency. She again stated I should have called the emergency line and there was nothing she could do. I told the lady I would be disputing with my bank and then she switched up and said “Wait I can work with you and give you half back” which she has now let me know she can refund me was just choosing not to. I then asked why would she only give half back if I was canceling on the first, not halfway thru the month. Stated it was a “courtesy refund”. Lease agreement states the end of the lease is determined by the date property is removed from lot (April 29th). Lease agreement states, “Lessee will inform lessor on the day of removal of their property to avoid responsibility for payment of next month’s rent” again they were closed when property was removed and not calling a emergency line for a non emergency. I value my time at home with my family and I’m sure they do as well.I understand they need to know when property is being removed to cancel agreement, but with me removing my stuff on a Saturday and the first being on a Monday, they was notified the first day of regular business hours. Was also told when signing up for the boat storage, there were cameras. There is none. Also no gate, anyone can roll up at anytime of the day and take off with your stuff. Lot is ok for what it is if your fine with people living in campers on site but after dealing with this kind of customer service I will be storing my stuff elsewhere, and would recommend you do the same. As of this post no call back, no refund of any amount. ... Read more

Great facility! Nice and clean, paved throughout at the Blueberry Lane location. Gated with security cameras too. Reasonable access hours. We also have outdoor storage we continue to use and will definitely be back if we find the need for extra storage again. Love the climate controlled option! Everyone there is so helpful&friendly. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Forward Storage - 160 Blueberry Lane include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 750 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Forward Storage - 160 Blueberry Lane start from $40 and can go up to $750 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
