False advertisement, sheds are MUCH SMALLER than advertised. Go see for yourself first before signing on. I was warned by another local storage co. that they offer first month free but increase prices quickly after. The lady that works there must think I’m stupid because that 11x15 she tried to get me into was missing 8 ft. She said “well it is an approximation”. She also confirmed they go up on prices within 8 months of you renting. Not a nice way to do business! I’ve been using storage sheds for 25 years and you can’t take away 8 ft and expect someone to pay for a larger shed and space they never receive. Go properly measure your sheds and offer true size measurements to be fair to your customers. Stop ripping people off! Pro: the temperature seemed cool as it should be for climate control. ... First, the local folks here are great. My prior negative review was about corporate and the rental industry in general. I asked the local office for corporate to contact me and they did. Therefore, I am changing my review to three stars as there is no way on Google reviews to just delete. So, I’m modifying my review. Three stars for corporate, five for the local crew. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Valley Storage - 272 Hickory Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 630 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Valley Storage - 272 Hickory Street start from $55 and can go up to $224 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
