Purchased on their website to Rent storage unit number 156. Went there And the place was very rundown looking, and the gate was open and the gate actually is only a front gate because the side of it is nonexistent. But I needed to move my stuff so I went around to the unit number, then proceeded to open it up and there were two people sleeping inside of it on mattresses. I definitely wouldn’t rent here again and really hope I can get a refund because I cannot move my stuff in there Because it’s full of trash and mattresses of those people who were basically living in there because How unmonitored it is. And not to mention When I did see those people they were not decent so my mind is a little scarred right now. Really hoping I can get a refund because I’d like to rent somewhere else and I need to be in a place and get my stuff out before the eighth so I’m kinda in a pickle. I did call the cops and they searched for those people, but all that was left was trash tried calling the property manager, and I know it was towards the end of the gate being supposed to close even though I don’t think it closes and there was no answer. Hopefully, they read this message. I will be calling back in the morning, asking for a refund because this is just not acceptable. I do feel bad about those homeless people, but sadly, they will be forever in my mind???? ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 130 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 264 Center Street start from $43 and can go up to $74 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
