Read some helpful reviews of American Flag Self Storage at 2376 Hickswood Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

If I could I would leave a zero. American Flag Self Storage plays a victim if anything is wrong. *The gate doesn't work-not our fault, the repair people haven't shown up. WE PAY for the security that often isn't provided. *The AC doesn't cool the unit- if you spend too little on the AC unit that it will not keep the units cold or warm on hot days or really cold days, then you shouldn't charge a premium price for services you cannot provide. *The lights don't come on-this should be so easy for any property management team to fix, but if it takes a week or more once reported *The door often sticks- I have to enter from the other side and force it open. *AND Finally the prices just keep going up NOW realistically, when I find an open unit, with A/C nearby, I will move. Storage units like this at the size I need are at a premium and are not easy to come by. So, unfortunately I stay even though the service is terrible. ... Read more

Joshua was amazing. He took great care of us, made sure we took advantage of the move in special, thoroughly explained all of the rules and benefits, and gave us a tour to make sure we found the right unit for our needs. The facility itself is very nice. A huge step up from other storage places. Highly recommended. ... Read more

Shout out to Joshua Gantt, Property Manager, and American Flag Storage Eastchester for their professionalism, excellent services, maintaining communication, and safely securing my stored overflow items. The area is well lit and I feel safe on the premises. Thank you all for everything! Customer Service is second to none. I've been a customer several times over many years. Please consider this specific location for your personal needs. I'm also sure you will receive the same excellent services at any one of their facilities, I've only used the Eastchester location off and on for a minimum of 10 years. HAPPY STORING! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at American Flag Self Storage - 2376 Hickswood Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
