Read some helpful reviews of AAA Self Storage at 5235 High Point Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Okay, I will say a few things here. This place looks "sketchy" from the outside. BUT we needed a place quickly to store an RV we bought. This place had low rates and 24hour access. This was great since we sometimes leave early or return late from trips. The lots were full of old cars and stuff that I was unsure about. We couldn't get our RV into the slip we were assigned. A call to the office to see if we could use a different spot we saw was answered with of course! They assured us they had been working diligently to get out old tenets that had abandoned property. We trusted the process lol. We returned a couple of weeks later for a trip and sure enough four spots had been cleared. Two more weeks later and some more were cleared. We decided to rent a unit here as our other storage facility for our property had doubled rates. They got the unit ready for us before our move in date with a new ceiling and was clean. We picked up the RV again for a trip and more stuff has been cleared up and new tenants have moved in. I am glad we made this choice. The office staff is ALWAYS nice, helpful and prompt. Always answers the phone and returning email questions in minutes! The prices are fair enough and they are working on cleaning up the lots. I look forward to seeing the end results. ... Read more

I have a large storage unit for a great price however the units need some improvements. The door will not stay up and has to be propped up. There is no one there to check on things are answer questions. ... Read more

Crooked company! After finally getting in touch with someone I reserved an outdoor space. Explained exactly how big my boat was. Gave them all my information. Showed up to get the code (without the boat thankfully), the guy immediately said he wasn’t sure the one I reserved was gonna work. Obviously a bait and switch tactic as the one he reserved for me wasn’t big enough for a Honda Civic. But he had another one. Just cost another $10. Complete scam. Avoid. They will find anyway they can to screw you over. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at AAA Self Storage - 5235 High Point Road include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 420 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by AAA Self Storage - 5235 High Point Road start from $55 and can go up to $160 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
