We have had storage spaces here for a few years now. When we first began, it was very affordable and we felt that our items are safe and secured. The prices have gone up continually over the last few years and we really haven’t gotten anything special for that increase. I know it cost money to run one of these places, but there should be a discount for those who have been storing their items for an extended period of time. Your place is always clean and well kept. ... Read more

Several of my items were stolen. About $3500 worth of tools. The cameras were conveniently not recording and the insurance company would not pay anything even with the police report. That was before they put the gate in and the storage facility would not take responsibility for the loss. ... Read more

I rented a regular storage unit that was not climate controlled. It was very clean without any leaks during rains and none of my belongings were affected by moisture even during the hot, humid summer months. Del, the manager on duty, was always knowledgeable & helpful. I would definitely recommend these units. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Sense - 1414 Greenville Hwy include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Sense - 1414 Greenville Hwy start from $35 and can go up to $155 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
