I would not take a unit for free from them. They stole my credit card information and charged my card without permission. I never rented a unit from them. I started the paperwork and did not finish it since it was exhaustingly long. I rent three other units from abundant storage and AAA storage and had a much better experience. I would try them instead. ... Read more

Julie was absolutely wonderful—kind, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She made sure everything went smoothly and even greeted me during my move with a warm smile and a bottle of water, which I had completely forgotten to bring. That small gesture meant a lot and really showed how much she cares. I truly appreciated her support! ... Read more

By far the worst customer service at a rental company I’ve ever had from a property manager. I called to talk about my unit and no one answered on several occasions so I left a voicemail detailing that I have been calling and I did not want to pay the nine dollar fee, but no one never answers the phone so you’re almost forced to pay the nine dollar Fee over the phone unless you auto pay, and asked if someone could please return my call at their earliest convenience..I received a return phone call almost immediately from Julie the property manager . I explained to PM about how or if my unit rent could be reduced in any way possible? She then explained that she had been there for two years at that property and with a company a few years longer that. She began to tell me about a form of request that o could fill out but there was nothing she could do. I understand that but in what tone she was speaking was by far the rudest property manager customer service I’ve ever dealt with in this business , I asked her since I have been with her renting for a long time a couple of years plus could she put in a request to reduce my rental payment? That’s up to the customer to do it and “plead my case” I said OK that would be fine. Just asking because I have been a loyal customer with you for four years, she cut me off many times during our conversation and I asked her why was she being rude and annoyed , she did not reply and she did not answer me. She says well you are month-to-month, I was simply asking. What can you do to reduce my rate and she said you’re long time Customer like that you should expect to get your rent to go up and not be the same ,Julie I do understand that I was just simply asking as a courtesy to a long-standing customer what you could do for me. If Julie is short with all her customers and she is annoyed by questions maybe property management isn’t where she should be sadly to say I will not put mine on auto pay because I will not be there much longer renting from a rude property manager who does not know how to treat her customers or to speak to them so Storage King is this the face for your and the person you want representing your business? Julie, I do believe I’m owed an apology for the mistreatment and the rudeness that our conversation took ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage King USA - 204 Scholl Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
