Humidity event a month ago and was notified by snail mail. then today wen't to put something in the unit to find my lock cut off and a property lock and red security tag on door. I autopay and current. I trued unsuccessfully to contact manager for hours and my moving help had to leave. went to main public storage website and the chat gave me the combination to their lock and told me to break the security tag. I asked again for manager or for a call from manager and they said that wasn't possible, then offered an appointment for the following day- real helpful during moving, eh? Trust me. Don't rent here!!!! ... Read more

This facility is suppose to be climate control, only when HAVAC is working. I had my sisters belongings at another Public Facilty for 5-6years without any issues. This location we put our belongings in 2 first floor units and left it in what I thought be a safe zone. A friend told me about from another costumer there was mold issue they had and needed to dispose of their belongings. After hearing this I immediately went to our storage units. Both units on first floor had mold and mildew ! A significant amount on our furniture and personal items!!!! They broke the contract with the AC down for who knows how long. Avoid this place. Another occasion the elevators were not working ... Read more

I originally gave this facility 5 stars in November 2024 when I moved the contents of my home into a first-floor, “climate-controlled” unit. At the time, I wanted to support the front desk attendant, who mentioned they were running an employee promo. The facility looked shiny and new, and I felt confident my belongings would be safe while I went through a major life transition. Fast forward to August 2025: Public Storage has destroyed that trust. On August 3rd, I received an email stating there had been a “humidity event” and the entire first floor was affected. I immediately checked my unit the next day and was appalled, everything was covered in mold. Furniture, clothes, family items—over $10,000 in losses. Another customer had already posted publicly on Facebook in late July warning that the first floor had a major humidity control failure. Public Storage waited over a week, that we know of, before notifying its paying customers. They charged me rent on August 2nd, fully aware the units were compromised. Their “insurance” through Orange Door Storage is a joke—only up to $250, which doesn’t even scratch the surface of what my family lost. The District Manager, Jason Tumbiolo, has ignored my calls and has yet to refund even the August rent, much less any more, which he verbally confirmed he would take care of more than a week ago. To add insult to injury, I had to burn a vacation day from work to clear out the destroyed unit, spend money on a POD for my driveway, and scramble to salvage what little I could. Public Storage raised my rate during the 10 months I rented, but when disaster struck, they washed their hands of responsibility. They mishandled a serious facility-wide failure, took advantage of an entire small town, and continue to dodge accountability. Public Storage cannot be trusted with your belongings. If they treat your stuff like their own, they must not value their own property. My family’s loss and frustration mean nothing to them, and I will never rent from Public Storage again. ... Read more

Major Mold Problem – Check Your Belongings Immediately! We discovered extensive mold damage in our climate-controlled unit after paying $120 a month to keep our belongings safe. Many of our items are ruined. When we contacted management, they told us to “give them 72 hours to see if there is a problem” — despite this issue already being widely discussed in local Facebook groups and community threads. This is not an isolated problem. If you have items stored here, please check them right away. Mold exposure is dangerous, especially for families with health issues, and once your things are damaged, they may not be salvageable. We trusted this facility to protect our belongings, and instead we were left with costly and heartbreaking losses. Don’t wait until it’s too late to check on your unit. ... Read more

I’ve won multiple auctions at this facility and every time the units were instantly cancelled. It feels like management here is manipulating the auction process, and it creates a very frustrating experience for bidders. Transparency and fair practices should be expected from a storage facility, but unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case here. ... Read more

I received excellent service from Jeremy. He answered all my questions thoroughly and helped resolve the concern I had. I’m seriously considering moving my business to this newer location—not only is it closer to home, but the customer service here is better than what I’ve experienced at the public storage facility I’ve used for the past seven years, where it’s rare to find anyone available. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 5680 Annabel Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Elevators, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 5680 Annabel Drive start from $27 and can go up to $229 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
