The experience was mixed. The girl at the desk was the sweetest but i could not get access at night and so the cops came???? Why is it so difficult to open your own unit. I will not be doing business with this storage. Just need to get the item i left ... Read more

Don't recommend, booked online and went to move in. Found a lock on the door and no one at the facility to help us out. Called customer service and they couldn't find anyone that worked there. They ended up sending someone from another store. Really disappointed in this location. Go to the south Blvd location as it's way easier to use. ... Read more

We recently rented a storage unit at this location and had a designated appointment to pick up the lock. No one showed, not at the appointment nor the numerous times we stopped by over the next few days during their published office hours. We called during office hours, but no one ever answered. We contacted support, no one could answer our questions or locate anyone at this location. If anyone is considering renting from this location, think again. They appear to be taking money from consumers but not providing promised services. We will be pursuing court action if a full refund is not given. If you've received the same treatment, it may be worth doing the same. ... Read more

I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt before writing a negative review but in this case the Public Storage at 4715 Park Rd., the poor rating is deserved. This business is not being run well and is selling units to consumers without showing up to scheduled appointments or even being there during their own scheduled business hours. In NC, this is not only bad customer service, but it is also unfair and deceptive to the consumers it sells to. After trying to stop by six times over three days during their published office hours and leaving multiple voicemails, I found another storage facility that answered the phone during their office hours and immediately helped me secure a unit. 4715 is in a perfect location with a newer building, but it is NOT a place that makes you feel secure to leave your belongings if you can even get in. ... Extremely disgusting customer service. The office manager is never on site. Units are leaking and after we changed the unit because our stuff got ruined, they would not honor the special pricing as promised by their customer service Valerie. The most disgusting company to ever deal with. Save yourself the headache and go store your stuff somewhere else. These people have no ethics.wish I could give negative 5 stars. ... Read more

No one here during business hours!!! **several times**!!! Drove 5.5 hrs to collect my things today, now my key/lock is jammed & there is no one here to help!!! This is going to cost me another hotel night!!!! An Unstaffed office is not what I’m paying $191/month for. You raised your prices like two or three times since I started my account ONE year ago to almost double my original rate!!! You have posted business hours - this is awful. Been calling for 3 days to ensure a smooth move out and no one is here. Need supplies you sell in your store. Lost money bc I had to pay movers that I’m having to send home!!! Check your messages call people back. I have sensitive documents in my unit, thousands in clothing and furniture. I don’t live here anymore and need to leave with my stuff. What a nightmare. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 4715 Park Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
