Read some helpful reviews of Go Store It at 5411 Castle Hayne Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Nice and secure facility however customer service sucks. Never an attendant working when you need them and they will raise the rent on you what seems like every 2 months. Started out paying $140 and moved out when they tried to raise it you $298. They make you pay them for their insurance they sell for your unit. This place is sketchy. ... Read more

The storage area is always neat and clean. No problems with getting in. The only problem is that the price has gone up from the 50s the first month to the 80s the second month I am did not see the price stated in the contract when will it stop? ... Read more

I have had had a great experience with this location. The best part of that experiencd was Jose. VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL ! Love the location and i knew the items I had stored in a climate controlled unit were truly protected from the climate and secured. Thanks for taking care of the things I use for my business ... After 3 months, my rent doubled. Fine, I paid. I completed the move out form yesterday. I had physical moved out in September but forgot to complete the form prior to yesterday. In order to complete the form, I had to pay for the month of October plus a late fee. Fine; I paid. I called today to inquire about getting a pro-rated refund minus the late fee. I don’t expect to get a full refund. I was told my payment yesterday was for the month of September, and to refer back to my lease. I have my lease, I kept it; it clearly states “in advance”, meaning I am not paying for the prior month. Then the representative tried to justify no refund by telling me I got the first month free. Go Store It stole from me. ... Read more

11/14/3023 I want to share my experience so that no one else goes through what I did. Honestly, I do not recommend Go Store. They advertise themselves as a safe place, but that is completely false. I was robbed of more than $60,000 worth of property inside their establishment, located at 5411 Castle Hayne Rd, Castle Hayne, NC 28429. They stole my work trailer with all my tools, and also a brand-new pressure washer trailer — the engine had barely 5 hours of use. This was not just equipment; it was my livelihood, everything I use to work and provide for my family. What makes it worse is how the staff responded. Instead of helping me, reviewing their cameras, or showing any kind of responsibility, they only said a simple “sorry.” No real help, no follow-up, no action — just complete indifference. I feel devastated and disappointed because we trust places like this, thinking our belongings are safe, but clearly, they are not. Do not leave anything valuable at Go Store. Their so-called “secure facility” is not secure at all. I’m sharing this to warn others and to hopefully prevent anyone else from experiencing a loss like mine. I truly hope the authorities take action and the business takes responsibility for what happens inside their property. ... Read more

Last year they tried to raise rent 67%. I had to talk to them to stop that Price gouging. Now this year they are doing it again. 67% $99 up to $165. That is unheard of. I talked to them about not charging me $165. Well my bank shows they just charged me $165 for the month. They now won’t talk to me. I tried to leave a review on their page but it won’t let me. It time for attorney general to get involved. Do not rent from them ever. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Go Store It - 5411 Castle Hayne Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 600 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Go Store It - 5411 Castle Hayne Road start from $43 and can go up to $191 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
