Read some helpful reviews of Go Store It at 1101 Trinity Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I’ve had my boat stored at Lonestar Storage for 2 years now and have had a consistently great experience. I recently called in with a billing issue, and the gentleman I spoke with was a huge help. Even though I didn’t catch his name, he was professional and got everything sorted out quickly. ?The staff here is very friendly, and I love that it’s the same people who have been there for a long time. They really take care of you and make the process easy. Highly recommend them for boat storage in the area! ... Read more

The storage unit itself was fine. When we first rented it, it was reasonably priced (around $50/month for a small unit), and the secured access gate worked well—better than expected. The facility felt safe, and access was convenient. Since it’s an outdoor unit, there was a bit of a spider issue, but that’s expected with outside storage and wasn’t a dealbreaker. Be warned: this place is really only useful for very short-term storage. They raise the rate every couple of months, and those increases add up quickly. In less than a year, our small unit went from about $50 to $95 per month. What made it even more frustrating was that the same size unit was still being advertised on their website for the original lower price, while existing customers were being charged almost double. It feels like they rely on the fact that once your belongings are stored, it’s inconvenient to move, so rates keep increasing unless you’re willing to go through the hassle of switching facilities. Overall, the facility itself is fine, but I strongly recommend reading the fine print and planning for frequent rate hikes. ... Read more

Do not rent storage space from Go Store It on 9805 Statesville rd! We rented a 10x5 space on May 17 and when we went to get a few things on June 1, everything was stolen. The lock was in place and closed. We had no idea our things were gone until we opened the unit. It took less than 2 1/2 weeks for this to happen to us. Finding a human to work on our problem and file for the insurance continues to be a nightmare. ... Read more

Hank was really kind during our time using Go Store It. We forgot to coordinate our move out with him and accepted that we would have to pay an extra month because of our own mistake, but he noticed that we had moved out and refunded us for the month we weren't there. I would highly recommend storing with Hank at Go Store It. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Go Store It - 1101 Trinity Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
