The application was easy and quick. Great customer service. Only issues I encountered was the day I went o add my belongings to the unit there was broken glass all over the floor as you go in. Also there is a lack of lighting. There is no light inside or above the unit so I had to use a rechargeable lantern to put my belongings in neatly. ... Read more

It's difficult trying to contact someone that works for the building I never got a call back after calling them because they put a lock on my unit even though I had no missing payments. It also took them days after I made my first complaint to cut the lock which they said they didn't even know why it was there. ... Read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. If you in any way need a live person to resolve an issue be prepared to not get a response. You can leave a voicemail when you call that won’t be returned or you can put in a chat request which might be returned…..but it will take 5-10 minutes to get a response to a simple question.. Side note: also use this company if you also like your rates being raised almost 100 dollars mere months after you secure a unit. I’m emptying my unit at the end of the month and will never use them again. ... Read more

Danielle was so amazing over the phone to walk me through everything. Thank you so much. She read the contract for me as well in certain areas I had questions. At first I was hesitant renting here because of what I’ve heard. But Danielle was so great at explaining everything and I rented the unit. Thank you Danielle ... Read more

Pros: Clean, well-lit, safe & secure. The facility is on 3 levels but since it is built on a hill, every level is ground level. Carts for load-in/load-out are available just inside the entrance door. Cons: Rent increase. I rented a 5x10 unit for $53 in September of 2024. In December I received a notice that $15 of insurance was added, so now we're at $68. Last month, another notice that the rent was moving to $94 (a 77% increase) plus the $15 insurance would take the rent to $109. So in a little more than 6 months, total rental cost more than doubled. I vacated my unit 2 days before the new rent went into effect. Buyer (or in this case renter) be ware. ... Read more

I’ve been a customer at this location for many years and have always had a great experience and opinion of this business. Until today. Following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, I downsized my belongings and moved units in the same facility to a smaller one to save money, from $95 to $74. Three months after I moved units, I’ve been sent a rent increase notice. In previous years the increase has been gradual and reasonable. $8 or $9 at a time. I think once it was $11. No biggie. This time my rent was increased from $74 to $104. That’s a 41% increase. This is how Go Store It treats its community six months after the worst natural disaster in our regions history shatters the local economy? What’s worse is the same unit on their website is being advertised as $88 to new customers. Why would they treat a legacy customer this way? What’s the justification for this large of a rent increase? I wouldn’t recommend a business that treats its customers this way. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Go Store It - 39 Gerber Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 30 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Go Store It - 39 Gerber Road start from $36 and can go up to $204 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
