We've rented 2 units from them for 5 YEARS. That is a lot of money. We always pay online on the 1st. You used to be able to pay more than 1 month at a time but they stopped that (I believe so they can raise prices, which they constantly do, and force auto pay.) Now it seems they've outsourced their online pay and it's not working. Of course it's on a No one is ever in the office and it's impossible to ever get anyone on the phone. Our price for 2 10x10 outside units (non Temp controlled) is now $268.00 a month! They started in 2020 at $120 for both a month. I understand inflation but when we got our units you could pay at a kiosk in the office or pay the person that worked IN the office, who was there at least Monday through Saturday decent hours through the day. Now you are forced to speak to what i believe is an AI on a screen in the office during limited hours! So PLEASE tell me, where is all the extra money going? Bc it sure as hell isn't going to hire more people, it isn't going to improve OUR units and there isn't ANY extra security. Now my poor mother who recommended GostoreIt to us bc she has rented a unit for the 5 yrs for set she makes is about to lose everything bc she had emergency surgery and had forgotten to let them know she had a new card(her fault, I know). But, she had been auto paying religiously. They never sent a single letter, only email. She's 74! She went by and the screen lady told her she owed 2 months and over $100 in late fees. NC law is storage units can only charge 10% or $10.00 per $100 per month in late fees. Please, tell me how are they doing this. And to a loyal customer of 5 years who brought in 2 more of 5 yrs. You're about to lose us all and get reported. Btw, the actual people that used to work for you were wonderful. What a bad decision getting rid of them. ... Read more

I called Go Store It late on Friday evening and it seemed that I was put in a que so I hung up thinking they were closed. One minute later I got a call back From John. He clearly gave me the information I needed, reserved an RV space for me to come check out on Saturday and decide if I liked it. John was very courteous and willing to help. Thanks John! It’s rare these days to get great customer service! ... Read more

It was kind of weird that there wasn’t a human being there but then I met Laura on the screen and we had a good time talking and getting me into a bigger unit. Pretty seamless overall and honestly, the automated process along with the manager on the monitor Is more than enough to complete the task at hand. Thank you again Laura for all your help! ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Go Store It - 270 Mills Gap Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Go Store It - 270 Mills Gap Road start from $27 and can go up to $188 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
