It was so easy to rent the store room online. I was able to sign online and had everything emailed to me code and all. It took me all of 5 minutes to move some stuff into the room. This was the most pleasant experience renting space I have ever had. ... Read more

I'm a new customer and GoStore it was very convenient and very convenient! The check-in and lease experience was one of easiest I've had with a storage company. It was all done remotely, including opening up the unit for me to check it prior to entering into a lease. Plus - spoiler alert guys - the BEST part is that I am literally paying 70% LESS than what Public Storage was charging me 1.5 miles away for the same indoor, climate controlled space (exactly same dimensions). Highly recommend! ... Read more

We have been renting two storage units in Pensacola, Florida and have had nothing but problems ever since we paid our money. There is never anyone there, it is in the middle of the worst homeless and crime area in Pensacola, Florida and there is always someone smoking in a unit or urinating on the front porch or inside the building. Now, as of Friday, we have two emails saying that we have closed out our storage units, but we actually paid on 1st September (which is an automatic draft) and could not get into the building or the gate yesterday when we were trying to go through more boxes to sell more items when we called to try to get help getting in, of course they are not open on Sundays and there’s no way to talk to anyone except a robot. I have emailed and called but of course nothing could be done yesterday. A few weeks ago we needed to move my son several hours away and needed to be able to get in in the morning and my husband and son spent almost 4 hours trying to deal with getting in when the gate supposedly had been struck by lightning, but nobody was there to deal with the situation. This was on a Friday in the middle of the day so no excuse for not having access. I have called multiple times with multiple complaints and been told that I would get a callback from the district or regional manager, but nobody ever calls back. It is wrong, and I would go so far as to say illegal, for us to be paying a company to have access to our storage units and to be locked out or unable to access during business hours. When a gate is broken, that is a security gate And just anybody can come and go as they please we should not be paying for a secure storage. And you certainly don’t raise the price almost doubling it in just 2 to 3 months after renting. ... Read more

Facility is beautiful - access very easy. Corporate pricing practices are abhorrent and very difficult to reach a human being. After 6 months they added a $15/month insurance without notifying me. They increased my rate 50% after 9 months!!! They advertise "cancel anytime" which is true but only if you can figure out how to do it. No option is present on your online account. No option in the phone tree when you call. You must somehow get to an agent. The online chat has a long wait, as well as the phone. When you reach someone they will say you must give 10 days notice, but my contract specified 3 days. They at least honored that. Good luck. ... Read more

It took a little time to understand how this storage facility is set up. So much has changed in how storage facilities are managed today. I read the lease and was able to log in with the help of a customer service representative. Thank you! ... Read more

From the day we put our belongings in our units , everything was perfect , the only problem was when I called to let them know we were coming to get our stuff on April 4th the person I spoke to told me they don't prorate it , so I asked if I had to pay for the whole month of April and the girl told me yes we don't prorate , I thought that was odd because they prorated when we got in , so I know that was not right , anyhow if we owe 3 days worth that is fine , but the prices went up 100.00 for the bill and I was not going to deal with that she was not helpful , however the people I dealt with in the building were awesome great and very on top of things , place is very well kept up and perfect for our storage .Thank you JoAnn Yeager ... I already had a larger storage unit in the same GoStoreIt location and I needed to downsize. The manager, Heather, was super friendly and helpful, arranging for me to easily transfer from my old one on the top floor to a new one on the second floor, a short distance from the back door entrance. I was able to move easily and before I was billed at the old, higher price, which was helpful to me. I did it in two days and feel so much LIGHTER! Lol. Spring cleaning at its best! ... Read more

Mr Coleman provides top notch customer service. He walked me around the facility and showed me everything I would need to know about entering and exiting the building, payment drafts, pro rating monthly bills when you are finished with storage needs. I wouldn’t hesitate sending my family and friends there. They came highly recommended to us by friends who had recently moved. If you like excellent customer service this is the place for your storage needs! Great prices too!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Go Store It - 2128 Hendersonville Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
