10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! If you keep anything of value there I'd take lots of photos and have proof you own it because it may go missing in this facilty. We rented for over 6 years and never late on rent, went to move out and discovered they had replaced our lock with one of theirs WITHOUT our knowledge. After dealing with that fiasco and finally being able to get into our unit we discovered some very precious family heirlooms were missing and a few other things. Called and spoke with someone named Josh who acted like he didnt have the time of day for me and suggested i file a claim on the insurance they mandatorily made us take out last year which is a joke too because all they want is proof, who has reciepts for things purchased over 6 years ago, so I'm just out of luck... Not to mention they go up on your rent every couple months...Its been a horrible experience and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. So just beware and maybe take your business elsewhere. ... Not very impressed with the new owners. Nobody works on site. No communication. This facility just in my opinion has gone downhill and sucks. They changed my locks no I was not behind on rent or anything. I can't get in my buildings because there's nobody that works there they work off site. They told me they would mail me my keys. I still have not received my keys several months later. But yet they don't have a problem with continuously going up on rent. They changed my Gate entrance passcode then when I asked them what's the passcode they give it to me and they said I changed it to that. That was a lie plus they have lied about several several other things. Maybe other people don't have this issue but I totally do not recommend renting from them unless you're ready to get stressed and big headaches. I have been renting from this place 4 years and not a one-time have I been late on rent ... Read more

If you make your payment promptly and stay up with all their increases in rates, you’ll be fine. However as a third party paying the fees for an elderly couple, there is no room for error. That lock went on their storage shed when they, I, didn’t get notice of $20 increase. No mercy, or grace period. About 8 calls later, talking to two managers, and using my own credit card for increase of rate and late fees, they took their lock off. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at StorMark Self Storage - 1201 North Fayetteville Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 500 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by StorMark Self Storage - 1201 North Fayetteville Street start from $57 and can go up to $302 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
