Regina Was so helpful after having a hostile take over of my home from my ex-wife. I had to find a place for my boat. Regina Was spot on she communicated what she needed to move forward and get it expedited all the paperwork was done under 20 minutes and believe me it took a burden off my shoulders. ... Read more

5 stars for Regina! She has been working tirelessly and graciously helps me when I need it. She goes above and beyond with patience and a friendly attitude. Regina is a blessing. The facility is kept clean. The only inconvenience is that you cannot call the location directly. Also, you have to keep checking to make sure renters insurance isn't being charged when you already have it. ... Read more

I have stored my things at this facility for the past 4 years and my experience with Regina, the property manager has been exceptional. She showed me my unit when I first arrived. She was helpful, kind, respectful, and didn't rush me at all. Over these last four years, I've had no issues other than a question here or there, and Regina has been helpful in getting answers to my questions. She seems to be the only one there now. I wish she had help. It's hard to be showing people units when others are waiting around at the office. I'll miss her smiling face. ... Read more

I had an inside unit and a parking spot leased here for about 9 months, from June 2024 to March 2025. I had nothing but a positive experience as a tenant. The facility was always clean, key pads and gates always worked, seemed like there was plenty of security cameras everywhere so it felt pretty safe. Regina the manager was awesome, anytime I needed something or had a question she was quick to answer or find the answer to whatever I needed, and she is a really nice lady in general. If I needed another storage unit in Apex I would come right back over here. ... Read more

I cannot believe it has been almost a year since I moved my things down to Storage King in Apex. Since I am soooo busy, I rarely get over to my unit. But one Sunday afternoon last month, I went to the unit to retrieve some items. I drove the entire perimeter of the grounds (getting to my unit and then off the premises) and it was striking how neat and well-kept the grounds were. I normally would not notice something like that, but the grounds were immaculate. I remember thinking wow, they have a really good grounds keeper. A few weeks later, I had to stop into the office to rent another unit, mentioned to Regina how great the grounds look and asked if they use a local company. When Regina told me that she keeps the grounds AS WELL as manages the unit rentals, I was shocked! She not only does a great job with the units, she keeps the grounds looking incredibly neat and tidy as well. And just like my first unit rental, she was super helpful in getting my second unit set up and making sure it was nice and clean for move in. Regina is the BEST!!!! ... Read more

I like this facility. It is clean and offers exactly what I need for my storage needs. It is also very convenient to get to and from. ... Read more

Renting a unit here has been an absolute nightmare. 1) I had an online reservation done and when I arrived to move my items into my unit. The gate code didn’t work, no one was in the office despite the hours that were posted there. I called and called and no one picked up. I had taken time off of work to move my items in and had to go back home with a car load full of stuff. Once i got ahold of someone from corporate, they fixed the gate code and I was able to enter. Then of course, my unit had a yellow lock on it so again couldn’t move my items in. 2) I was moved from unit 259 to 217. NO ONE clarified that there was a huge price difference. One unit was in the 70s and the other over $120. I wasn’t made aware of this until I called asking why they were trying to charge me more than what my online reservation stated. Just trying to get a hold of someone was ridiculous. Apparently, the manager was out and other managers ended up starting to cover for her. I also never got a copy of my lease despite the email saying that I would get one and I just had to provide my drivers license when moving in. How could I do that with no one in the office? Then they tell me that after 3 months my price will increase and it is based on the higher price for the unit THE OFFICE MOVED ME INTO WITHOUT TELLING ME IT COST SO MUCH MORE! Still working with the office on this…. 3) I return from out of the country and I discover MOLD ON MY STUFF. I already have over $500 worth of damages and now will have to take time off of work to travel back to this unit (I live 3 hours away) and pay for travel expenses to go through every single box I had carefully packed in the unit. Best part is that the insurance coverage they offer only covers up to $500 in mold/mildew damage. A brand new car seat, a roomba and furniture all clearly have mold growing on them. How is $500 going to cover that? I have lost so many items due to this facilities negligence with ensuring they have a properly working facility. They clearly have moisture intrusion issues and water leaks. I am absolutely furious with this storage unit and how the handle everything. Do not move your stuff into here. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage King USA - 1538 East Williams Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage King USA - 1538 East Williams Street start from $32 and can go up to $324 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
