Read some helpful reviews of Grant Creek Self Storage at 2405 Michael Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I was away for 7mo and parked my car there, I set up my account payments but forgot to click auto, while they did charge me some late fees, they didn't impound my car and there were no other issues. I am very pleased with the experience and would use them again! Thanks guys A+ ... Read more

Signed up online after checking three other places in town, Grant Creek is by far the cheapest and the service is great. Frank went above and beyond to get our van situated in our correct spot. And it’s so super convenient in the center of town. Highly recommend ... Read more

It's new and it's fine. We use it for parking. Our main complaint is related to the gate. We went multiple times with different codes each time and repeatedly had to call customer service to get into the gate. Finally the lady did some magic and got ours consistently working but being unable to consistently access our trailer during the summer months is a concern that we are hoping is mitigated if the gates continues to work properly. ... I've been looking to consolidate storage units when I came across this facility. Picking the size of the unit and setting up the rental was all easily done online. After I completed the online rental agreement I was promptly called to confirm move in date. I showed up at the facility, my gate code worked and drove right to my new unit. The facility is nicely laid out and the storage units are clean and easily accessible. In today's lack of customer service, working with this facility has been a pleasant experience and I will gladly recommend them to anyone that would ask about storage units. This experience has definitely been a bright spot of my week. They definitely get a 5 star rating from me! Thank you! ... Read more

Not impressed with the customer service we have received thus far. Facility is very nice and new, units are spacious and clean. The attempt to make it online booking is inconvenient and has cost us a lot of down time waiting for the attendant to arrive to fix issues out of the consumer's control. The customer service has increased the stress of a move, and if we didn't already have one unit with them, we would have gone elsewhere for our storage needs. Hopefully they can resolve these issues, to make it a smoother process. After working in customer service for 30 years, I know how important it is. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Grant Creek Self Storage - 2405 Michael Road include the following amenities: Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Kiosk Available, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 420 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Grant Creek Self Storage - 2405 Michael Road start from $65 and can go up to $145 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
