I’m not entirely sure why this public storage only allows access until 6 PM. And if you’re not out by 6 PM, you will be locked in. If they are worried about safety or anything like that, the person that works in the office should be there from 12 to 9 instead of 8 to 6. Most people aren’t even off work until 6 o’clock to come by and get whatever they need And I have a feeling that six to 9 o’clock time range would be much busier than the 8am to 11am range. ESPECIALLY MONDAY-FRIDAY!!!!! It makes no sense and it’s very frustrating. Make it make sense. Do better. ... Read more

They will permanently lock you in if you were in the building/gates after they close, which is 6 PM unlike every other location. Let me repeat that 6 PM so on top of that they have a huge water leak getting worse by the day every time I show up on the bottom floor, they’re elevator does not go to any of the upper floors. It is ran down. No working bathroom on location. Carts are only available if they are in the office which is minimal & they hold on to your ID to check one out then harass you to give it back before an hour of closing. The management is seemingly very lazy. They were letting me and my husband stay later the other day & promised they would come & check to let me out because my unit just got broken into along with 20 others, and they did not do a sweep of the whole units or facility and they forgot us and so we had to jump the fence to be able to get out and the only pro of the location is the cheap ass price and that’s what you’re gonna get the quality is matching the price. Do not store here unless you will load up all your stuff in a unit in front of a camera (which they maybe have one more available ) and never go there again.I rate it -1/10. Also have a group of homeless people the managers seemingly more than accept them living there. Sketchy all the way around. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 268 Westminster Drive NE include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
