EDITED REVIEW 2/19/2026: I wanted to update my previous concern. After I reached out, the team responded immediately and helped resolve the issue. The manager on duty was kind, professional, and very helpful in locating my belongings and ensuring everything was handled properly. It appears I was caught in the crosshairs of a management transition, which likely caused the earlier communication issues. Once staff became aware of the situation, they stepped in quickly and even waived fees to make things right. I truly appreciate the prompt assistance and professionalism shown. Thank you for turning a stressful moment into a positive experience. _______________________________________________________________ Hi — I moved out today (1/20/2026) and realized afterward that I accidentally left a matching set of suitcases at the side entrance door nearest the ramp. I tried calling the facility, but it appears the phone system requires an active account number to route to answering service and my account appears to be disconnected even though it’s paid through the end of the month. I also stopped by around 2 PM, but the office was locked and no staff were present. I left a voicemail and am hoping someone can please check whether the suitcases were moved to a lost-and-found or secured area. I’m happy to come by tomorrow if they’re still there. Thank you — I’d really appreciate the assistance. ... Read more

My five star review is specifically(and only) for Whitney. Whitney has been an incredible customer service representative of Public Storage. I’ve had so many issues with this company, but each time I talk to her, she resolved and de-escalated every issue. I’m super grateful to have moved out of my unit and I can only credit Whitney for assisting me with this. If it weren’t for Whitney this would be a completely different review for Public Storage. The ONE thing that Public Storage did great with is hiring her and I hope she gets a raise! Five star service Whitney thank you so much. ... Read more

Darrius was amazing helping me transfer from one unit to another. He suggested/picked the new unit to match my current lock. AND also transferred me to a unit a few doors down. Process was easy and simple. I appreciate his help everytime I come to my storage. ... Read more

Team members were great, but very dumb company policy that if the elevator breaks down there's no way to get to your stuff on the second floor. Elevator down and a crowd of angry people who can't get to their stuff or have their units open and need to get back to it. Huge disaster, won't be using Public Storage in the long run. ... Read more

Went to grab a few things out of the unit and ended up getting trapped in the parking lot for hours. I was leaving right at closing time and had to use the back elevator, even though it’s further from my unit, because the front ones have been down for months. I would not have been trapped and had to call 911 since there is no after hours/emergency phone number to call if the elevators were working properly. ... Read more

Horrible Experience - Public Storage Monroe Dr., Atlanta We've had consistently negative experiences at the Public Storage on Monroe Dr. in Atlanta during our last two visits, and frankly, it's unacceptable. Most recently, on June 13, 2025, we arrived with a large moving truck around 5:45 PM, well within the advertised access hours (which state access until 9 PM). To our dismay, all three garage doors designed for unloading moving trucks were closed and padlocked. This forced us to park our large vehicle in the general parking lot and manually transport every single item up a ramp. This added significant physical strain, stress, and complexity to our unload. It not only impacted our crew but also increased the frustration and disappointment for our customer, who was already dealing with the inherent stresses of moving. This kind of oversight and lack of accessibility, especially during advertised access hours, is incredibly disruptive to moving companies and, by extension, to our clients. A strong word of caution to fellow movers: Please, do yourselves and your customers a favor and call ahead or have someone confirm the availability of the loading dock doors before you arrive at this specific Public Storage location. You don't want to encounter the same avoidable issues we did. ... Read more

If you care about your stuff, do not put it here! They will let people break into your storage from the top of your unit in broad daylight and won’t tell you. They will just act like it never happened. There are people with storage units broken into right now who don’t even know their stuff is gone. After talking to others, I found out this happens often. I feel like it’s an inside job because of how frequently this happens. When I asked for the camera info, it happen 3pm on a Sunday. And no one saw anything????? After all my stuff was stolen, all they offered me was a $50 credit—like that even comes close to what I lost. If you’re thinking about renting here, don’t. Your belongings are not safe ... Read more

So who I am assuming is the store manager Darius? Is completely and undeservedly rude even on the phone when he answers it. I just had to get off the phone before I lost my mouth. Not quite sure what makes him so unhappy or if he needs to switch jobs but it needs to happen. And about four people that I know that have done business with this location and we're thinking of doing business with this location have changed their minds since encounters like this it's sad let's please do better. Good customer service is what keeps you paid. ... Read more

i would pay attention to the most recent reviews with new management to understand how bad this Public storage location has gotten. they incentivize people to write these reviews upon move in at beginning of renting period before the see how bad it is. The photos I posted is a typical day at public storage- here you see people desperately trying to get into their storage unit but are locked out because of the malfunctioning gate that never works. I could understand if it malfunctioning and they responded quickly but they don’t ever answer their phone or go to the office. It will take them 24 hours or 2 days to respond. people use storage units for work and they are locked out at least 3 times a week. if not locked out, the gate is left wide open for people to come in and break into cars and loot everything in site-see the attached photos of the shattered windshield and glass. The management does not care and does not take any responsibility. They even will raise the price on you while they negligently mismanage the property and never have a solution for this ongoing security gate problem. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 2115 Monroe Drive NE include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 350 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 2115 Monroe Drive NE start from $19 and can go up to $354 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
