I moved back to Colorado back in March. I had to pick up my life and relocate home. I neared a storage unit for all of my things and my motorcycle when I called me the office manager Robin has been nothing short of amazing. She helped take care of me. Help me set up automatic payments takes my phone calls. And the fact that I forget, I have automatic payments with such grace. And patience i never been more satisfied having my stuff somewhere in my entire life. This place is amazing ... Read more

I have had the Pleasure to work with the Manager at the 128th Self Storage Facility, Robyn, to secure a large rental unit for my Household goods from a move from Louisiana to Thornton, CO for the past 6 weeks. She has been 'unbelievable' in her expedient 'follow-up' emails and calls to keep me appraised of the status of the Unit availability in-which we were needing to store our goods. She was informative, timely, and very professional in taking care of our needs. Because of all of her Efforts and Professionalism, I rate this Manager as a 'Five Star Rating'! Ron ... Read more

The staff is super nice and helpful. It served it's purpose for what I needed at the time. I had the space for about 4 months. A 10×20 is a pretty good size. I moved from a 6 bedroom to a 3 bedroom and still had extra room in there after putting everything that couldn't fit in the new place. They give you a convenient code to access the gate anytime between 10am until 10pm 7 days a week. Even though their office closes in the afternoon. You can still get in. But don't get trapped. I was told you have to be out by 10pm or you get stuck in the gates. You are either in there for the night or have to call the police to get you out somehow. I never took the chance and always went midday. They have security cameras everywhere, so it's pretty secure. I don't know if they have climate controlled units but mine was not so there were bugs, spiderwebs, and even looked like mice may have gotten in. But you should expect that with outdoor non-climate controlled units. It was kind of pricey so I tried to get rid of it as soon as I could. I was paying $189 a month for the 10 × 20. I'd guess there is probably cheaper around, but it was conveniently located to where I was off the corner of 128th and Colorado Blvd. It's tucked away behind the preschool on the corner. You actually use the same entrance to get in and drive past the school to the gate by the storage office. It was an overall good experience and I would recommend it if you just need a unit for the short term. If you need long term it would probably be best to get climate controlled space and find a more reasonably priced one. Also, when I signed up for a unit they were able to do everything virtually. Sign contracts, give me gate codes, and take payment. So it was contactless to get the unit. You can make payments online, too. You never really have to go into the office for anything if you don't want to. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at 128th-Colorado Self Storage - 4215 East 128th Avenue include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by 128th-Colorado Self Storage - 4215 East 128th Avenue start from $110 and can go up to $290 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
