I went to go rent a storage unit and the front desk Megan accommodated me by coming after hours to meet with me because I was in a desperate situation and had only one day to get my storage out of somewhere else. She gave me a really good deal one of the best I’ve seen around town and showed us where the donation unit was which I thought was a very nice amenity. Also, I was very impressed with how clean the storage units were kept inside! She was so nic, you just don’t get customer service like that much anymore. I also heard the owners are a really nice couple so I’m excited to be there. Plus I’m basically paying less for a 10x10 then I was for a 5x10 in Springs! So, I’m happy with my choice! ... Read more

By far the worst facility I've ever stored my belongings at. The facility has no trash service available to paying customers. I've been here for over 13 years. Everything I own is covered in dirt and it was robbed. The manager says "it was an inside job" I will never ever recommend this place to anyone ever. BE SMART AND DO NOT GO TO THIS STORAGE FACILITY " ... Read more

No, I do not recommend this storage facility. They may have one of the best rates in Pueblo but, 1st when I went to sign up, it's a family owned business so the storage is located on their personal property and they are not always in their office. I called and she came out with her little 2 year old, who was jumping around everywhere and sitting on the customer seats and she didn't want to tell her toddler to move until I looked at her, "like we are your customers, can we sit down?" then she finally, finally told her toddler to go play or something. 2nd, her storage units, at least the one she rented me, the ceiling insulation was falling down, when I asked her about it, she said, "oh the builders of the units didn't measure it right so the ceiling insulation will be falling down and all over your stuff." yea thanks a lot!!!! That stuff from the ceiling is going all over my clothes and furniture! 3rd, I needed another unit and she said she had one the day before, but when I called she didn't even look, she immediately said, "No" that unit is not available, yet when I went to my unit there was no lock on the other unit, she was just too lazy to look and see if the additional unit I asked for was still available. To this day there is still no lock on that "taken unit" 4th their contract clearly states, "payments due on the 1st of the month and cashed on the 15th of the month" they took 2-3 of my checks and saved them for 3 months and cashed them all at once taking close to $200 dollars out of my checking at once!! I cannot afford that, I had the balance in there until the 15th and it was not cashed therefore I paid other bills and I do not keep a high balance of $1,000 or more in checking, cash it when your contract states or don't cash it at all!!! it clearly says on their contract due on the 1st and cashed by the 15th, when I called them she said, we never do that we have been running our business like this for years. OK, well it's your contract that says that not mine and that is a legal document! this is a family owned business, my guess because they wanted to make extra cash and the wife, is lazy, she does not want to check the black box outside for payments or come outside for new customers or to take cash payments, she doesn't want to take the check payments to the bank to cash and waits until she has a lump sum to go cash them all at once, people in Pueblo cannot afford that, in case you don't understand Pueblo, doesn't have high paying jobs like Denver, we live paycheck to paycheck and I expect those checks to be cashed monthly by the 15th like your own contract states. I will be filing a complaint with the bbb as well!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Mesa Self Storage - 2003 Santa Fe Drive include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location and Parking. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
