Lynita is amazing she has helped us with all our needs and even went above and beyond normal customer service by helping us speak with my mother in law who had questions about the unit as my mother in law paid our first month. Every time I'm at the unit Lynita has been friendly, kind and so understanding of our situation. I wish everyone in customer service situations would approach our needs the way she does and it seems no matter what the day brings she has a smile on her face and brings a calmness that is so much appreciated. Thank you!!!!!! We really appreciate you. ... Read more

I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with Summit Self Storage in Loveland has been nothing short of a disaster. Just a few days ago, I was informed by the new property manager that my unit was one of many “vandalized” and I needed to check if anything was missing. Upon arrival, I found that around $15,000 worth of my power tools and skis were gone, with my unit door hanging off the rails—clearly broken into and unsecured. Half of the doors in my area were similarly damaged. The property manager couldn’t even admit these units were broken into, stating no other tenants had reported anything missing (yet). The complete lack of urgency was appalling. No effort was made to re-secure the units after the break-in. When I asked about camera footage, the response I got was dismissive at best, hinting that the cameras were either malfunctioning or that management just didn’t care enough to check. I contacted Loveland police, and to my shock, I was the first person to report the incident, despite this not being the first time it’s happened at this location. It’s clear that management has failed in every possible way: zero accountability, no communication, and absolutely no follow-through. The photo I’ve attached shows what you should watch out for if you have a unit at Summit Self Storage. Break-ins happen when the doors are kicked off their rails, making it easy to bend the door and climb underneath. There is no on-site property manager, and after the gates close, there’s nothing stopping people from breaking in. The doors don’t have automatic locks, and many of the security cameras have black spray paint covering them, rendering them useless. Do yourself a favor and avoid Summit Self Storage in Loveland at all costs. This place is a nightmare waiting to happen, and if you value your belongings, take them elsewhere. ... Read more

Worst storage facility I have ever used. Filthy and rodent infested, no manager ever in office or onsite. No one ever answers the phone. Vandalism and break ins. Broken wide open secutiy gate, no ones stuff is safe. No on site security and their surveillance system hav been vandalized. ... Read more

NEVER go to Summit Storage! They have homeless people living in units who will break into other units and steal your stuff. They won't check the cameras to get your things back or to see who it was. They don't care about the customers at all, they just want your money and they will NOT hold up to the rules or regulations of their contract. I signed up for the 2 months for half off deal and only got 1 month & 3 days half off, and they charged me over DOUBLE the price for the second month. They have NO security and will make you pay to get your things back or put their locks on it the day your bill is due and charge you a $200 fee. This place is a joke, they will scam you out of your money ANY way they can, and it's almost impossible to get a hold of a manager or owner and the employees are VERY rude and unprofessional. They clearly don't care about their job or the customers. Avoid this place at ALL costs!!! Literally go ANYWHERE else, unless you want your stuff stolen! 0 stars ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 6651 North Franklin Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 6651 North Franklin Avenue start from $34 and can go up to $302 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
