They are bias for evicting me accusing me of doing something nearly five other tenants are doing. The manager who gave me the eviction notice today lied to me when I asked if I was the only one being evicted for staying overnight in My vehicle parked in front of the unit. She said there were three other tenants being evicted after I made mention about the unit residents. She said yes, and blatantly lied. She only said this because I told her that I know of three other tenants that literally have apartments set up in their storage unit. Yet, since she lied to me it shows that she is not concerned about them, but only concerned about me. This is because the police have rented the unit next to me to set up surveillance on me. This is completely outside of professionalism and the landlord's responsibility to me as a renter to be safe and secure with my property and person on the premises. While I was sleeping in my vehicle outside of the unit she lied to me when she said they are evicting three others for the same reason. When at the same time there are five other tenants who are still going to be here living in the unit without any retribution for what the manager said to me, sleeping on the premises is grounds for immediate termination of lease. If she wasn't bias then no other person living in their unit would be telling me they didn't get evicted, and they didn't hear about anyone else living in their unit being evicted. I went and talked to two of them, who have sofas and beds and lamps and things set up in the storage unit as an apartment, if they are being evicted. He said no. He said he knows of four other people living in a unit at this facility and none of them are being evicted. Only I am being evicted! Only I was picked out of everybody because they are bias against me as they are helping the police make my life as difficult as they can because they are nothing more than jerks with so much pride in ego that logic and common sense is completely foreign to them. They are working with the police to harass me and make things harder for me by evicting me only for this infraction. They are not evicting anyone else, but me for this reason. This is because the police have lied to them about me to get them to cooperate in the things of harassing me. For instance, they turned off the electricity in the building of my rental unit that has 20 other units and mine has outlets on the corners of the building. They deliberately deprived me of access to electricity that was in my, as well as, all exterior lighting at night because they want to be ignorant jerks and help the police who've lie to them. They also turned off all the outlets only two months after I moved in. I know that the management has been working with the police to set up surveillance in the unit next to mine. I have obeyed all the rules and even gone above and beyond responsibility of being a tenant and picked up trash in my area, as well as, replacing a light bulb. Now they turn off all the electricity around my unit to make it dark so that I can't see in at night. It is only the police they are working with to do this. They are bias because they are volunteering their services to the police while I am a outstanding tenant. ... Read more

I am writing to express my concerns regarding an unsettling situation within the short period of my storage residency here at AAA Storage, which has not yet reached one month. Recently, I was falsely accused of threatening an individual who had approached me multiple times with requests to purchase my puppies. This baseless allegation has forced me to relocate, which I find both distressing and unjust. Further complicating this matter, I have reason to believe that the individual making the accusation has a personal connection with the property owner. According to the receptionist, her supervisor has instructed her not to engage with this individual regarding the allegations. Additionally, the supervisor has declined to consider our accounts or review the security footage, which would clearly demonstrate my innocence. This situation raises significant concerns about fairness and due process. ... Read more

I have had my unit locked out multiple times when I was current on payments and usually found out after hours when it is hell to get someone out. This is going to be my final month with them- they changed payment systems and notified everyone via email late on a Friday and I was locked out of my unit by Monday The automatic payments did not transfer to their new system and they did not call. Go anywhere else they overcharge as it is. Follow up to their response: I was with these guys for about 2 years and I moved out within 7 days of the incident and they will not refund due to their mistakes nor will they pro-rate what has already been paid. Go Anywhere else. if they can't handle the simple things imagine what will happen if you have an issue. ... Read more

Average units. Scandalous management. Some helpful info; Monthly cost increases every year by roughly 20% (unit is 1/5 the cost of my mortgage). The units are not completely closed off from adjacent units due to large gaps in ceiling and walls (see pic) which could conceivably be an issue if you don’t want others having unknown access to your property. Unable to back up a pickup truck to load/unload. Maneuvering a trailer remotely close to my unit was difficult or impossible due to the layout of the complex. Zero grace period on rent which is understandable. What is not, however, is being locked out of your unit on the day BEFORE rent is due! Be wary of these sleazy tactics! There are businesses with integrity to choose over places like this. Update: After move out with multiple emails, a phone call, taken the move out survey etc… I still get invoices. So they are continuing to charge me for unit completely ignoring the move out. This is likely an attempt to come after me for some outrageous move out bill. Having taken a survey soon after I notified of move out, it’s clear they knew the unit was vacant. Typical scandalous tactics. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at AAA Self Storage - 2505 3rd Avenue include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by AAA Self Storage - 2505 3rd Avenue start from $59 and can go up to $399 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
