I had an excellent experience at this Public Storage location. The facility is very clean, well-maintained, and secure, with cameras throughout the property, which gave me peace of mind. I especially want to commend Marnie for her outstanding customer service. She was extremely patient, took the time to give me a thorough walk-through of the facility, and carefully went over all the available options to make sure my storage needs were met. Her professionalism and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this location, especially with Marnie’s excellent support! ... Read more

I’m in the middle of selling my home while living in it and a storage unit made sense. My friend recommend this location to me and Cora was able to help me set everything up in less than 15 minutes. I am very grateful for her help! ... Read more

Hi just got started with public storage and had a great experience. The app, directions, and mainly Cora were great. I live right down the street and I asked about the police presence given some of the other reviews. She assured me they’ve taken steps to up security and I believe they have. We don’t live in a perfect world and people will always have bad intentions. Good on them for doing what they can to prevent this. Facility is clean, wasn’t busy, and appreciate the tech to basically be entirely touchless. ... Read more

I had a Memorial Day special sign up price, asked if the price stays the same for the length of time I rent. They said yes. After about 3 months my price went up by over $100. In addition, my unit was “inside” through a door with a code from 1-5. These doors locked and no code was provided on how to get it. No building manager to be found in person or over the phone. Thankfully I left a voicemail and someone at the Parker storage unit picked up and provided the code and said that this was a common issue and wasn’t sure why they didn’t inform anyone… All in all poor experience. ... Along with several of the other reviewers here, my unit was also burglarized, and several thousand dollars of goods were taken. The property manager has never run so fast when I told him what happened. He threw the "Orange Door" pamphlet at me and said I dont know what to tell you and vanished. UPDATE*** I just heard from Orange Door Insurance and they are DENYING my claim because there is "No sign of forced entry" despite pictures of boxes ripped open, furniture broken, thrown about and complete and utter disarray. Everything in my unit was moved in by professional movers, under my direct supervision. Again this was behind 3 different coded locks. This is definitely an inside job. DO NOT TRUST YOUR PROPERTY HERE!!! ... Read more

I have had 2 storage units here in HR since 2021, paying on them both while living back home in MI. There's a story behind all of that but I would have to write a novel! I would just like to say, after dealing with a few other employees during my time there, BRIAN has been incredibly helpful and was able to help me more in one day than the others were able to do over the last 3 YEARS! I would literally dread it if I would have to call the office, knowing nothing was going to be accomplished. I look forward to eventually being able to get our things back home, but until then, I am very happy to know that if any more issues do arise, that he will have no problem handling it for me. Thank you so much for your help, Brian...You are doing an AMAZING job!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 4111 Siskin Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 4111 Siskin Avenue start from $47 and can go up to $278 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
