    BE CAREFUL! They will not refund your deposit if there is a speck of dirt after your move out. I swept my unit and then was never notified why my deposit was not returned. Come to find out after calling the office 3x that there was a “pile” of dirt. Mind you it is the end of July and I moved out mid June. This picture was just sent to me today. These units are not airtight of course dust and dirt is going to get it. Save your time and money for another storage company. ... Read more

    So far the team at Mountain Shadows Storage has been great. The lease process was simple and quick. Access to our unit is very easy - I love how wide the area is between buildings/units (enough for parked cars/moving trucks and cars to get past you while loading and unloading).     I highly recommend this storage facility, particularly the location at 8320 W. 20th Street Greeley, CO 80634, where you will get the pleasure of meeting and working with Lindsey. She is passionate about the work she does, and her compassion for humans is way up there. In every conversation she has that I overhear, she takes care of her customers. The move in process is really easy, and there is a complimentary box truck available for four hours. You can purchase locks on site if you don't have any. Move in is prorated and you can even set up auto-charge so that you don't forget to make a timely payment. The location is always very clean, and the code access gate and on site cameras offers a nice sense of security for your items. Move-out is so simple and only requires a 7 day notice to vacate.     The facility is clean and professionally managed. Lindsay was manning the front desk each time that I had a question or needed information. She says that she has been working there since February, barely over three months. This is difficult to believe, since she always had the information and answers that I required. She has a very pleasant appearance and demeanor and it is obvious that she has had customer service experience. My wife also interacted with Lindsay and referred to her as 'professional' and 'awesome'.     Been using this place for a couple of years now. In the warmer months it is fine, but if it snows, not so much. Snow removal is essentially non-existent. They may kind of plow a one lane width path down the aisles, but that's all folks. If your storage unit door is in the shade, you will have snow and ice in the way for a very long time. Worst of all is the ice by the keypad used to punch in your code to exit. My truck literally slid sideways away from the keypad about 4 feet when I drove up today. You then have get out of your vehicle onto incredibly slick ice to walk to the keypad, and get back into your car without falling. Today I had to put my vehicle in 4-wheel drive to get out of the facility. This is acceptable if the snow has just fallen, I get that. IT HAS BEEN OVER A WEEK SINCE THE LAST SNOWSTORM!
