DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. I walked in to buy a unit and was met with the rudest manager I have ever come across. She treated me like dirt. I literally walked right out of there. Somebody needs to explain to her the words, “customer service.” Unbelievable. ... Read more

I’m currently going through a very stressful move, but the staff here made the entire process so much smoother and even turned it into a positive experience. Two people in particular went above and beyond: Shawna and (I believe his name is) Paul. Paul was wonderful on the phone, super friendly, patient, and extremely helpful in getting me started with the process. Shawna then guided me through the move-in process, and she was absolutely amazing too. She not only helped me find a more convenient unit, but she also took the time to clean the unit. She also honored a special offer that Paul gave over the phone, helped me with the gate code and unit lock, and overall made everything feel simple and stress-free. On top of that, she’s incredibly kind, caring, and enjoyable to talk with. I can’t thank them enough and highly recommend them:) ... Read more

When I started renting here, it was a great facility called "Storage Unlimited". Family-run with nice managers, good security, a clean public restroom, a light and outlet in my unit and reasonable pricing. In 2023, Store Local bought the facility and everything changed for the worse. Regular increases in the rent (some were so exorbitant that they were later retracted), no more bathroom or electricity, nasty threatening notices directed toward people who might be smoking and/or urinating on-site, and most importantly a loss of security. l got wind of break-ins at the facility but wanted to make sure this was actually happening. I phoned the Arapahoe County Sheriff in late 2024 and they confirmed that they had had 52 calls or reports to the facility in the 4 preceding months. The on-site manager confirmed that some of their perimeter fencing was down but they intended to fix it. This, along with an unannounced rent increase was the last straw. Took my belongings to cheaper, more convenient and more secure storage facility and couldn't be happier. If you value your stuff and want to be treated well, I would avoid this facility. There are plenty of competitors in the area. ... Read more

The new management is terrible. DO NOT give them your business. They refuse to work with you and pinch pennies while cutting corners wherever they can. Prices basically doubled within a 12 month period, and they love to tack on fees. Naomi is the most unprofessional and unhelpful staffer her attitude is terrible. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. ... Read more

I would give this new management a zero if I could! Since they have taken over they have raised my rent 3 times in the last year , they no longer give you a 10 day grace period to pay before they start adding late fees! As a matter of fact they charge you late fees after the 1st of the month! I went from paying $120 to $300 for a unit they advertise online for $85 dollars! Go somewhere else don’t use this storage place, they aren’t even open 24 hours! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storelocal Storage - 1995 South Valentia Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
