Beware!!! We rented from them for over 3 years. We set up automatic payment with our credit card. It was all working out fine. They decided that they did not want to take credit cards any more and would not invoice us, but charged us late fees when it was not paid on time. We asked that they invoice us, but they would not. We worked it out and paid the late fee. Even paying our rent 3 months in advance. Rates start out reasonably, but they add in extra cost along the way. We were charged an extra fee for the over use of the dumpster, hiking our rates for opening the door to often in our heated unit, making us move to a non heated unit to keep our expenses reasonable. Raising the rates every year. Asking for free product from our business regularly. We were there one full day doing inventory and left for lunch. We just got or food and my cell phone rang and it was Mark, demanding I return immediately and move my vehicle because it was parked in front of the porta-potty. It was parked there all day and Mark walked by it 2 different times, never saying a word. We stopped our lease and the new lessee was in the unit the same day, but they are keeping our deposit for floor restoration. Even hanging up the phone on us when we questioned it. There are much better people to do business with. There rates seem good in the beginning, but it does not stay that way long. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Denver RV Storage - 303 East 56th Avenue include the following amenities: Onsite Manager, Gate, Enclosed and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
